Bank Support Worker - New Forest (Internally known as Premier Crew)

Location: Blackfield, New Forest

Salary: £15.00 per hour (Mon - Fri) to £18.57 per hour (Sat & Sun)

Contract Type: Sessional 

Hours: Flexible hours available

Suitable applicants will be appointed – we are fortunate enough to be recruiting to multiple Premier Crew positions for this service.

Essential Criteria

The successful Sessional Support Worker will need to have:

  • Able to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

  • Experience of supporting vulnerable people with a variety of needs

  • Experience in promoting and encouraging people's independence

  • Good communication skills: verbal, non-verbal, and written

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Bank of Support Workers within our internal bank agency, Premier Crew. Working with Premier Crew provides flexibility to work shifts that suit your work life balance. Our Premier Crew Support Workers support our clients with all aspects of their daily lives, including finding work or volunteering opportunities, accessing education at local colleges, getting involved in community events, as well as helping with budgeting support, some aspects of personal care, cooking and cleaning and maintaining a home.

About You

The desirable qualities for a Premier Crew Support Worker are as follows, please note while these are desirable, they are not essential:

* Being a car driver with access to use of a vehicle for work purposes (with business insurance)

* Experience working with people with learning disabilities

* Flexibility to work across multiple services in your chosen area

* Experience working as a Support Worker
