Are you looking for a rewarding role that fits around your commitments? If you share our values and you’re ready for some job satisfaction, then look no further!

Our fabulous team in Greenock are on the lookout for compassionate and creative colleagues with a positive attitude to join them as Bank Support Practitioners. Our bank contracts will give you flexibility over the days and hours you work, tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit.

For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK, 'manual' driving licence with a minimum of 1 years’ driving experience as the individuals we support have their own mobility cars.

This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. If you're looking for full-time, guaranteed hours, this may not be the right fit, but if you want flexibility, we'd love to hear from you!

The Role

Join our warm and welcoming team in Greenock as a Bank Support Practitioner, providing high-quality, person-centred care when it’s needed most. You’ll cover shifts during staff leave, training or sickness to ensure high quality and consistent support. To build trusting relationships with the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up 1-2 shifts per week.

We support a range of different needs including Mental Health, learning disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries, addictions and past trauma. As a Support Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in assisting with daily living tasks including meal preparation, medication management, attending appointments and activities, handling personal finances, and personal care. As well as practical support, you’ll also offer emotional guidance and help individuals maintain meaningful relationships with their family and friends, empowering them to thrive in their own homes and communities.

The people we support enjoy active, fulfilling lives. Their interests range from going to college, having lunch out and dancing at the disco, to watching football, visiting the Beacon Arts Centre for a show and more. With your encouragement, you’ll help them build independence, grow in confidence, and achieve their personal goals.

Benefits:

  • TRFS rewards scheme (which includes cash-back and discounts at a variety of high street and online retailers)
  • Generous annual leave.
  • Paid travel during shifts and 45p per mile fuel allowance.
  • Continuous in-house training opportunities and chances to further your career in social care.
  • Refer a Friend scheme- £150 reward for successfully referring a colleague.
  • Free Membership of Glasgow Credit Union.
  • HSF Health Care plan.
  • Counselling & Life Works service.
