About the Role

We are looking for a Band 4 Physiotherapist Technician to support on a fixed term contract (to 30.06.27) our highly experienced Physiotherapy Team in delivering a Physiotherapy service to the students of Victoria School.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and excellence in order to support the physiotherapy provision at Victoria School

The successful candidate will be an, self-motivated, and empathetic, with a genuine passion supporting and developing the Physiotherapy needs of the students at our school. You will already have experience and knowledge within Physiotherapy and understand how a technician is able to support the qualified members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include supporting the qualified team under their guidance in the provision and delivery of Physiotherapy programmes to our students. On occasions you will be a second support person within 1-1 sessions to support with positioning, position and balance where required within Physiotherapy sessions. You will also be required to support in Aquatherapy sessions under the guidance of the qualified staff.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and empathetic individuals with a genuine passion for Physiotherapy.

  • Physically able to support the moving and handling of students on land and in water.

  • Strong IT skills and an understanding of the legal responsibilities to document interventions with students.

  • Calm and adaptable approach, able to lead and manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within the wider MDT team; education and therapies
