A position for someone who loves the Lord and has a passion for teaching, evangelism, discipleship and reaching out to young people and families.Who we are:
An independent evangelical church in the market town of Alton, Hampshire. Morning congregations average 45 and we have a small youth ministry, but run a successful 4 day Holiday Bible Club each summer with 30-60 children, many unchurched.Your role:
To share pastoral responsibilities within the church; leading and developing activities with children, young people and families. Supported by volunteers, our aim is for you to help children grow in faith and the number of families in church increase.
Required Skills
Skills and experience:
- Personal Christian faith and acceptance of the Bible as God's word.
- A Genuine Occupational Requirement is for full agreement with the church's basis of faith which is aligned to FIEC, as well as with the FIEC ethos statements.
- Some experience of young people's work desirable.
