We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Carpenter/Joiner to join our team based in Chester.

Are you looking for your next step or change in career? Our Apprenticeship programe gives you practical experience, all whilst working towards a qualification in partnership with our training provider, Cheshire College (Ellesmere Port campus).

You’ll work towards a Level 2 nationally recognized qualification in Carpentry & Joinery. As well as gaining experience in the workplace, you’ll be supported by ‘off-the-job’ training at college. This helps provide a route or pathway to further skills, opportunities, and progression. All of this will be supported by the team around you, ensuring you are getting the best out of your apprenticeship!

The role of Apprentice Carpentry and Joinery will include:

You will work in the Northwest region based in Chester, we do, however, cover areas including Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester so expect some travel. This opportunity will give you a chance to gain valuable practical experience in Carpentry & Joinery, all whilst learning the customer-facing skills needed to build a career in the industry.

 

Skills and experiences:

On top of this, practical skills we are looking for are;

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent to), including Maths and English
  • Good practical and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy getting stuck in to physically demanding work
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence or working towards
