Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join St Vincent’s Hospice – a hospice often described as “the little hospice with the big heart”.
At St Vincent’s Hospice, you will play a key role in providing holistic, person-centred care to patients and those important to them, supporting them through some of life’s most significant moments.
About this role:
As an ANP, you will work as an autonomous practitioner, using advanced clinical judgement to manage a complex caseload and deliver high-quality care.
You will:
- Undertake comprehensive holistic assessments and clinical decision-making
- Provide expert symptom management, including prescribing
- Support patients and families through sensitive and complex conversations
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to service development, education, and quality improvement
This is a senior clinical role where your expertise, compassion, and professionalism will have a direct impact on patient experience and quality of life.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Holds (or is working towards) a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Is an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300)
- Has significant experience in palliative or end-of-life care
- Demonstrates strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
- Is confident working autonomously and managing complex cases
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours:
This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive annual salary ranging from £52,769 to £61,377.
