Paces Sheffield is a specialist centre and charity for children and adults with neurological conditions (mainlyDescription of Paces Sheffield:
cerebral palsy). Paces delivers Conductive Education: a holistic package of support that aims to help
individuals obtain the greatest level of independence through a range of supportive measures.
Paces meets the physical and cognitive needs of individuals which are often not met holistically elsewhere.
Paces Sheffield was established in 1995; the organisation was born out of the experiences of parenting pupils
with physical disabilities and their related learning difficulties.
Parents, employees, governors and trustees have overseen the growth of Paces as a charity.
The school currently has 51 children from ages 3-18, and provides a personalised curriculum based on thePaces School gained Non-Maintained Special SchoolI status in 2009 and were rated "Good" by Ofsted in 2019.

Conductor in order to deliver a wide range of programmes and activities in order to enhance the lives of theAs an Adult Support Worker, you willreport to the Adult Services Manager and Senior Adult Services

The post holder willundertake al tasks required within the remit of this role, including, but not limited to:
Providing support and facilitation for individuals on-site and off- site, including their personal
care needs. ●
under the direction of the Senior Conductor.Assists with, and takes part in, planning and implementing the daily programme / activities
Assists with general housekeeping tasks.
Assists in planning the logistics and preparation of the workshop environment.
Continuous learning and development surrounding Conductive Education and Adult Social Care
Upholds a professional attitude, maintaining strict confidentiality and loyalty to Paces at all
times.
Works professionally with other staff members at all times.
Complies fully with policies and codes of practice at all times.
