Job Summary
Brighton College Prep Hove is seeking to appoint an Admissions and Marketing Intern on a full-time basis.Main Purpose of the Role:To assist with the efficient running of the Admissions and Marketing department. This is a fixed-term placement for one year, with the possibility of an extension to the contract or a permanent position, starting in September 2026.General Duties and Responsibilities
• To assist in developing high-quality marketing materials that reflect the school and group brand, including materials for current and prospective parents (newsletters, parent & toddler group collateral, promotional booklets, Open Morning materials, etc.).
• To oversee photography and videography activity for key events or to book photographers when this is unable to be actioned in-house, ensuring all key events in the school calendar are photographed.
• To oversee the production, storage and deletion of images and videos, ensuring content is of high-quality and in line with our brand and GDPR guidelines.
• To regularly post and generate graphics for engaging content, stories and reels on all social media platforms, providing subsequent data analysis.
• To design, deliver and oversee paid social campaigns to drive attendance at Open Mornings and other admissions events.
• To regularly update the website, ensuring it fully reflects the essence and excellence of the school. This includes writing articles and choosing/editing/adding new images and video content.
• To manage Google Ads, SEO and GEO to ensure we are driving high traffic to the website for target audiences.
• To support the administration, organisation and delivery of admissions events. Attendance may be required at Saturday events and Open Mornings.
• To provide administrative support to the Head of Admissions for all prospective families, including booking tours, processing documentation and communications.
• To ensure that the identified demand for the places is reflected by an appropriate targeted marketing response.
• To ensure that there is brand consistency across all communications.
• To build strong relationships across all school departments (teaching and support staff) and to respond appropriately to department requests and enquiries.
• To support the Head of Admissions and Marketing where required.
• To ensure all GDPR policies are adhered to.

The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with the Adobe creative suite, including InDesign and Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Canva and social media content creation, including editing reels.
• Understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
• Some understanding of educational marketing or interest to learn.
• Experience maintaining databases and managing administrative processes.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm with a 60-minute unpaid lunch break (37.5 hours per week).For full details of the role please see the Job Profile Document below.

Salary
The rate of pay for this role will be £12.71 per hour and is in line with the National Living Wage. This role comes with 20 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. Complimentary lunch is also provided.
