Pride in Place: Administrator Job Description
Location: Pride in Place offi ce, 37 Alexandra Road, West End, Morecambe, LA3 1TQ, but initially Citizens Advice North Lancashire Oban House, 87-89 Queen Street, Morecambe, LA4 5EN

Salary: £24,000 FTE (£10,593.10 actual)

Hours: 16 hours per week to be worked 10am - 3pm, Mon - Thurs with 1 hour unpaid lunch
4. Main Purpose of the Job:
a. To provide an effi cient and eff ective administration support system to the Pride in Place project
b. To give a warm welcome at the offi ce
c. To be meticulous in maintaining records and keeping data
d. To keep detailed fi nancial records and supporting documentation
Note: Employment is with Citizens Advice North Lancashire, but day-to-day activities and tasks are Pride in Place-branded and run.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The following will be managed and monitored using Specifi c, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timed SMART objectives, mutually agreed with the line manager based on the needs of the Project.
Day to Day Operations
● You will be expected to time manage and prioritise your workload as appropriate. There will be a variety of projects and community work taking place
● Maintaining confi dentiality and complying with all national GDPR requirements
● Open, record, scan and distribute incoming post
● Proofread, print and post outgoing mail and record as necessary, ready for dispatch
● Welcome visitors, volunteers and residents
● Be able to produce letters, write emails, and use Word, Excel, Teams or equivalent. Maintain spreadsheets, input data and be meticulous in your recording
● Book appointments and meetings for the team and maintain calendars
● Welcome and support our volunteers and keep up-to-date records
● Keep accurate fi nancial records, update spreadsheets, and keep receipts to pass on to the Finance team
● Any other administration tasks as requested by the Pride in Place manager
Other Duties & Responsibilities
● To regularly identify your own training needs and undertake training as appropriate
● Carry out any other tasks that may be within the scope of the post to ensure the eff ective delivery and development of the service
● Ensure compliance with Citizens Advice Equality and Diversity policies
● Abide by Health and Safety guidelines and share responsibility for own safety and that of colleagues and volunteers
Relationships & Community
● Be a trusted and confi dent member of the Pride in Place community, ensuring compassion, understanding and empathy are paramount
● Build and sustain good relationships team members and volunteers
● Understand Pride in Place and be able to articulate this to visitors and residents who visit the offi ce.
Compliance
● Be compliant with data protection laws and use acceptable accessible methods of data collection so not to discriminate or exclude
● You will ensure compliance with systems, policies and procedures including but not limited to GDPR, Safeguarding, EDI, and Cyber Security
● You will follow agreed fi nancial procedures as set by your line manager and/or the Board
Training & Development
● Identify and implement your own training and development needs
● Keep up to date with legislation and policies and procedures relating to specifi ed areas
● Attend relevant internal meetings
● Prepare for and attend supervisions and team meetings as appropriate
