Our staff are required to work on a range of different sites, including; college campuses, employer’s premises or communities local to your learners home - therefore willingness to travel is essential. There may be a requirement to transport learners in your own car,
insurance implications are reimbursed. Mileage and expenses are provided for travel during the working day.
Job Purpose
To provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the college. The role involves supporting staff, students, parents/carers and external professionals while maintaining a welcoming, organised and confidential office environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide the PA to the Principal with general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, scanning and data entry.
Support receptionist to answer telephone calls and greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide support with archiving procedures.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with data protection requirements.
• Assist with preparing letters, reports, agendas, committee meeting packs and other documents.
• Provide interdepartmental administrative support.
• Order and maintain office supplies and resources as directed by the PA to the Principal.
Upload documents to Databridge.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Follow the college's safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity policies at all times.

Person Specification
Essential
• Minimum of 3 Grade 4 GCSEs or above.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general IT systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Good attention to detail.
Desirable
• Previous administrative experience in an education, healthcare or social care setting.
• Experience working with or supporting people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR principles.
