About this role…
We are looking for an Admin Support Worker to join the Tenancy Sustainment Team.
Floating Support services work with people to sustain their housing. We use a strength-based approach to work with people to identify what support they require and how we can address them together or / and in collaboration with others e.g. landlords, Department of Work and pension or mental health services.
We can support people for the duration of their tenancy, or we can provide short term interventions. We can provide resettlement support when a tenancy commences, and we can equip people with the skills to manage their home and goals independently or when they are move on ready and require minimal support.
You will:
- Maintain and update team records, spreadsheets, and databases (including Salesforce Inform where applicable).
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, take accurate minutes, and record key actions for follow-up.
- Manage team inboxes, schedule meetings, and coordinate diaries using Microsoft Outlook.
- Track and remind staff of upcoming deadlines, ensuring reports and documents are submitted on time.
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as document preparation, filing, and data entry.
- Promote best administrative practices to improve efficiency, organisation, and communication across the team.
You will have:
- Good assertive communication stills, to provide a flexible and responsive service to people with rough sleeping histories.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in administrative support, including scheduling, record keeping, and document management.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and note-taking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in meeting minutes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while demonstrating professionalism and best practice in all administrative duties.
