The vacancy
We are looking for 2 x Activity Workers who will be based in our Linburn Centre full time to train in and deliver a variety of activities and support to our veterans such as archery, bowling, woodwork, VR, acoustic shooting, and arts and crafts. You will be welcome to bring new ideas forward and provide the opportunities for veterans to socialise with their peers.
You will be a key member of the staff team with an outgoing and organised personality. You will be innovative, creative and, have interests you can share with our veterans and above all you will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible and a caring approach.
We would love for you to have experience of working in social care, with adults with a vision impairment or other disabilities, or service veterans.
The post is subject to PVG Scheme Record/Update check for regulated work with vulnerable adults.
