Your Impact
You will lead the design and delivery of a full Wellbeing Programme that:
- Promotes independence, choice, and dignity
- Supports mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing
- Reflects each resident’s individual story, preferences, and needs
You will:
- Lead and develop the activities team
- Ensure consistency and quality across all sessions
- Embed person-centred care and the “Ageing Well” approach
- Work closely with the Home Manager to elevate the home’s overall experience
This role is about ownership, not support.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Designing and leading a structured, engaging Wellbeing Programme
- Managing, coaching, and developing the activities team
- Ensuring continuity of activities during absence or operational changes
- Monitoring resident engagement, mood, and wellbeing outcomes
- Managing budgets, resources, and activity planning
- Ensuring all sessions are safe, inclusive, and aligned to best practice
- Working collaboratively with staff, families, and the wider community
- Promoting the home and building a strong external presence
You will also take responsibility for:
- Rotas, absence management, and team oversight
- Maintaining high standards of documentation and compliance
- Safeguarding and resident safety
- Continuous improvement through feedback and evaluation
