Location: BH12 – Upper Parkstone Hours: 18–24 per week
Shifts: 3:30pm–10pm, sleep-in, then 7am–10:30am and alternate weekends
Sleep-ins:1 per week. Sleep in payments are £50 per sleep in, which equates to an additional £2,400 per annum sleep in payments (based on 48 weeks of the year).

She needs assistance with:

- Personal care
- Eating and drinking
She also attends a day centre four times a week, so you’ll be part of helping her get ready, travel safely, and enjoy her time there.

Ark Buckie provide support to 14 supported people to live as independently in their own homes. Support ranges from 16 hours a week to 24 hour support – due to the nature of support we provide shift patterns are variable to meet the needs of the individual. We support a wide range of ages from 18 – 70+. Support varies based on the individuals needs and wishes – this could be personal care, medication and finances, meal preparation, support to appointments, household tasks or accessing the community.
Our supported people enjoy a wide variety of activities such as going out for lunch, bowling, trampolining, swimming, darts, football, snooker, spending time with their families and going on holidays. An increasing number of our supported people have mobility cars which widens opportunity for activities in the community. We always try to make goals happen for people this could be exploring courses to support people with employability or trying a new activity. Our supported people love to be part of the community and have been organising regular events such as discos and BBQs where they can invite their friends and family and everyone can get together.
Please note that this role includes Sleepover* shifts, 7am shift starts and 10pm shift finish times.
As this service supports people with complex needs all our Support Worker roles do involve personal care and giving medication in line with the Support Plan.

Derbyshire Mind’s Crisis Support Drop-In Services are friendly & supportive non-clinical crisis services for adults who self-define as needing immediate help with their mental health or emotional wellbeing. Located in Buxton, Ripley and Swadlincote, the services offer out-of-hours mental health help, support and signposting in a relaxed and comfortable community environment. The services will be open on Friday evenings, Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons, all year round.

Location: Ripley
Job Purpose: The Support Worker role is to be a key member of the team delivering the Swadlincote Crisis Support Drop-In service on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, alongside Peer Support Volunteers. Support Workers are responsible for providing on-to-one and group support to attendees in an empathetic, non-judgemental, person-centred manner. Support Workers will also share the role of Shift Leader each week.
Please note, these roles will be based at Swadlincote, Ripley and Buxton, however CSDI Support Workers are employed on a “flexible by location” basis, so the ability to travel to and from other sites is essential for this role.
Working Pattern: Worked over Friday evenings, Saturday evenings, and Sunday afternoons, on a ‘week on-week off’ basis. About the role
This role will be based between our Outreach Services, and Supported Living properties. You will be required to travel between them, it is there fore essential you have access to your own car and a UK Driving License.
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Work in partnership with the team to provide person-centred, outcome-focused support.
- Maintain the dignity, privacy, and wellbeing of each individual, assisting with personal care, health, and hygiene.
- Support individuals in a variety of activities, including sport, leisure, cultural and recreational events, day trips, and holidays.
- Assist with communication, sensory support, or psychological monitoring and interventions.
- Providing quality support which meets the identified needs of each person
- Writing records of support provided
- Ensuring that all relevant documentation, such as support plans / risk assessments, is regularly reviewed; to keep them clear and accurate, to reflect each individual’s support needs and preferences.
- Follow Safeguarding procedures and act promptly on any concerns.

Context The Macmillan Deaf Cancer Support Project delivered by Self Help UK, is a UK-wide project that offers emotional and practical support for Deaf individuals living with cancer, as well as Deaf carers supporting someone with cancer. The project provides Peer Support networks – virtual support groups lead by Deaf people enabling Deaf people affected by cancer to connect with others who share similar experiences. The project also provides advocacy in complex situations to help with communication barriers as well as practical assistance to signpost to welfare rights, employment advice, counselling and support. The project team is based in Nottingham but has remote workers across the country. Our aim is to support the Deaf Community to be aware of cancer and to reduce the isolation and improve equity and inclusion in cancer care unique to Deaf community needs. Job Purpose To develop, coordinate, and sustain peer support groups for Deaf people affected by cancer across the UK. The role involves working closely with the Deaf community, volunteers, and partner organisations to ensure culturally appropriate, accessible support services. The Young Person Criminal Justice Practitioner plays a vital role in supporting young people affected by substance misuse and involvement in the Criminal Justice System. Working within Insight Lewisham, the post holder will deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions designed to reduce harm, address offending behaviour and support long-term positive change.
The role involves working across the full journey of a young person’s engagement, from assessment and risk management through to intervention, recovery planning and onward support. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner with a passion for delivering exemplary care, to join us in looking after people affected by life-limiting illness in both the hospice and community settings.
You will be working in our newly developed Palliative Advice Centre (PACE), as well as being an integral part of the medical team on the in-patient unit and Sunflower Living Well Centre. Our services are based in our purpose-built hospice situated one mile from Macclesfield town centre. There is ample free parking available on site.

The Role:
The Ticketing Manager is responsible for managing full-service ticketing operations for Edinburgh International Festival. The role requires detailed knowledge and experience of working with ticketing/CRM software to manage ticket sales in a very busy box office environment and maintaining customer service excellence throughout the sales cycle. The Ticketing Manager will maintain accurate financial reporting and secure information management processes and oversee the recruitment, induction and training of a team of seasonal ticketing staff.
Job Responsibilities and Deliverables
• Manage public-facing ticket sales, exchanges and refunds via all channels (telephone, online and counter, including at our Festival venues).
• Liaise with festival venues to ensure information such as accessibility, seating plans and transport routes are accurate and kept up-to-date.
• Accurately manage holds and allocations for internal and external stakeholder requests, including artists and companies, donors, press, sponsors and VIPs, as well as oversight of and accountability for a range of ticketing initiatives.
• Develop and apply discounts, offers and promotional codes, maintaining attribution for reporting and ROI analysis.
• Report on revenue and attendance figures to track sales and customer trends; reconcile daily sales (including daily banking procedures); manage the settlement and reconciliation of ticket sales for all events.
• Keep accurate customer records, including up-to-date contact details and contact preferences; oversee procedures to monitor and maintain data quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of CRM processes and customer experience initiatives.
