We support around 20 individuals living independently in their own flats, helping them with their day-to-day lives so they can live as independently and confidently as possible. All flats are located within the same building, creating a welcoming community feel and meaning there is no travel between sites, there is always a supportive staff team on hand.
Our service is ideally located just a 5-minute walk from St Andrews bus station, with regular connections to the rest of Fife, Dundee and surrounding areas.

Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Woodbridge.
As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
We need you to hold a full UK driving licence, the people we support have their own cars and you need to be comfortable driving people to various destinations, ensuring they can access all the places they wish to go.
What we're looking for:
· A genuine passion for supporting others.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Predominantly this will be to cover shifts at weekends. All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
Supporting people in their own homes and lone working with 16 people with housework, laundry, shopping, menu planning, preparing meals, supporting to arrange health appointments and going to health appointments at times, prompting to order their medication and reminding them to collect their medication. Everyone enjoys holidays, going to the theatre, cinema, day trips out and going out in the community
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
What we're looking for:

- Days: Between 07:00-22:00
- Sleep-ins: 22:00-07:00
There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.

Three active gents in their 30s with learning disabilities and autism, including one who does not use words to communicate. They live together in a shared home and maintain close family connections.
Their Interests Include:
- Active Lifestyles:Gym sessions, swimming, bowling, day trips, and countryside walks
- Musical Hobbies:Drum and guitar lessons (drum kit available in the house)
- Social Activities:Outings in town, nature walks, and day trips
We’re looking for support workers who are calm, organized, punctual, and have a bubbly, positive attitude.
- Empowering Independence:Support them in living their lives how they choose
- Daily Living Support:Assist with personal care, meal preparation, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Consistent Care:Administer medication, maintain routines, and learn their preferred communication methods
- Day: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Day: 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Long Day: 7:30 AM – 10:30 PM
- Sleep-In: 10:30 PM – 7:30 AM (Paid to sleep – £50 per shift)
1–2 sleep-in shifts per week. Rotas provided in advance for work-life balance.
