Being a Support Worker at Hollybank is a varied, exciting, and rewarding role. All of our services are unique, being tailored to suit the needs of adults and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and physical disabilities, and our teams work hard to ensure that the standards of care and support are consistent and of high quality. No two days are the same at Hollybank, but the role will include supporting with activities, personal care, eating and drinking, and ensuring the adults and young people attend appointments and social engagements. The Sycamores is an eight bedroom, fully accessible home, located in the heart of South Kirkby. Each of the eight en-suite rooms leads out onto a shared patio and garden area outside, and there is a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen for all to share. There is also an assisted bathroom and a multi-purpose IT and sensory room for communicating with families, friends and each other.

We are recruiting a full-time Panel Coordinator to work with a full, multi-disciplinary team to deliver the Drive Project in Bradford — a nationally recognised, evidence-based response to high-harm domestic abuse. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a purpose-built service, bringing together skilled practitioners across roles to work collectively, safely and effectively to reduce serious harm and increase safety for children and adults.

About the Drive Project (Bradford)

The Drive Project is not a pilot or test programme, It is a well-established national model, currently being rolled out across England, reflecting sustained national commitment to coordinated, whole-system responses to domestic abuse. In Bradford, the service is being delivered by The Bridge Project in partnership with the Drive Central Team and West Yorkshire Combined Authority and will be fully embedded within local safeguarding and partnership arrangements from the outset.

The Drive Project works with individuals who pose the highest risk of causing serious harm within intimate or family relationships. The programme combines intensive individual case management with a coordinated multi-agency response, creating the conditions for accountability, behaviour change and sustained risk reduction, while keeping victim and survivor safety at the centre of all activity.

The Bradford Drive service will be delivered by a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team, and we are recruiting to all posts comprising of:

• 1 Service Manager (full time),providing operational leadership, safeguarding oversight, model fidelity and day-to-day supervision and management of the service
• 4 full time Case Managers, working directly with individuals who cause harm to challenge abusive behaviour, promote responsibility, and sustain engagement over time
• 2 full time Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs), providing specialist, victim-centred advocacy, safety planning and risk management; IDVAs receive additional external clinical supervision alongside in-house specialist support
• 1 full time Panel Coordinator, responsible for managing the Drive Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Panel, including intelligence flow, action tracking and multi-agency coordination

The team will operate with fidelity to the Drive model, a trauma-informed, strengths-based framework, balancing challenge and accountability with engagement and support. Staff will work closely a range of systems and service such as police, probation, children’s and adult safeguarding, housing, health and specialist adult and child domestic abuse services to ensure a coordinated and effective response to high-risk harm and victim/ survivor safety.

Funding and Retention

The Drive Programme is currently funded through a Home Office national programme. While funding beyond March 2027 remains subject to government spending reviews and funding cycles, Drive is a well-established, evidence-based model that is currently under national roll-out, reflecting continued national prioritisation of whole-system responses to high-harm domestic abuse.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supporting service users with administration of medication
• Supporting with personal care needs and nutritional needs
• To support with making and attending medical appointments, ensuring accurate comprehensive

records are kept.

• Supporting food shopping and individual’s personal shopping needs
• Supporting with laundry duties and cooking and cleaning
• Supporting with finances and other administrative tasks
• Supporting with moving and handling requirements and using hoists
• Supporting with social activities and accessing community-based services including those

required to promote health and wellbeing.

• Offering emotional support to service users and acting as a positive role model enabling the

Completing daily observation sheets, ensuring a smooth flow of information to facilitate good communication within the staffing team, as well as professionals who require viewing of these.

Key roles

• Your key role is to manage and lead the instructional department.
• You will also participate in the activity programme by instructing, leading, co-ordinating and training both guests and instructors.
• You will ensure correct paperwork and records are kept for the maintenance of equipment and instructors qualifications and will keep up to date with orders, invoices and other admin.
• You will be involved in the planning development of new and existing activities.
• You will oversee the development of various programmes offered by the Centre e.g. DofE programmes.
• Oversee completion of logbooks.
• Make sure that the professional and skills development of your team is up to date and progressed forward.
• You will supervise and assist with the maintenance of outdoor education equipment and an inventory and recommend appropriate outdoor activity purchases or replacements and place orders, all within the agreed budget.
• You will be part of the Abernethy-wide Chief Instructors forum which meets regularly
• You will keep abreast of current developments in outdoor education and liaise with professional bodies on behalf of the Centre.

Essential Requirements

• A good working knowledge of working in an instructional department.
• Qualifications: RCI, BCAB Sheltered water coach, Summer ML, BC Trail Leader (L2), Archery GB Instructor. You do not need to have all of these, but a combination of several will be expected.
• Previous experience of leading a team
• Have a heart for service, evangelism, and Christian discipleship
• Are able to problem-solve and think creatively
• Have excellent communication skills
• Can cope under pressure, in a calm and efficient manner to set deadlines
• Are motivated, enthusiastic and demonstrate initiative
• It is a genuine occupational requirement that the holder of this post is a practising Christian whose lifestyle is consistent with the values and doctrine of the Christian faith
