Home Fix Scotland (HFS) are seeking an organised and proactive Work Planner to join our team on a temporary basis.
As a Work Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and coordination of repairs and maintenance works. You will work closely with internal teams and external contractors to make sure jobs are allocated effectively, completed on time, and meet our high standards of customer service.
Your ability to manage priorities, communicate clearly, and maintain accurate records will help us deliver a seamless experience for our customers and uphold the safety and quality of our homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and allocate repairs and maintenance work to operatives and contractors.
- Monitor progress of jobs and update systems to ensure accurate tracking.
- Liaise with customers to confirm appointments and provide updates.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve scheduling conflicts and meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and organisational policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders and performance data.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance planning processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a planning, scheduling, or coordination role (preferably within housing or repairs).

This service is in the Haslingden area, close to the town centre with easy access to local transport links. You will be joining a friendly, established team that provides quality support to autistic adults. Our night shifts usually start at 22.00 and finish at 08.00, but please get in touch if you would like to discuss other options.
Autism Initiatives work positively alongside people with autism, providing specialist services that are tailored to each individual.
As a Support Worker working nights, you can enjoy an interesting and varied role. You will be supporting people with Autism to live as independently as possible, promote health and well-being and support them to maintain their home, some cleaning duties may be required. The people who live here may require your support throughout the night which may include some aspects of personal care and to have someone there who they have built a trusting rapport with will make a positive difference. - Support people engaged in support with Together to achieve their Recovery Plan goals
- Support the facilitation of structured and unstructured group work programmes, both virtually and face to face
- Support and empower individuals to engage in recovery activities, including those provided by Together and the wider community
- Conduct welfare and check-in phone calls
- Be a first point of contact for individuals, professionals, or family members, taking referrals as appropriate
- Provide Brief Interventions, including those focussed around harm reduction
- Use Halo (internal case management system) to document sessions and support the team with updates and audits
- Identify and report any concerns or risks to the Duty staff or Duty Manager
Potential to offer 1-1 support to individuals and hold a small caseload; from point of assessment through to ongoing recovery support – once confident and competent to do so, and alongside the support and guidance of your supervisor

About The Role
Together Drug and Alcohol Service is the commissioned community drug and alcohol provision for Devon. It provides a range of support, interventions and treatments for those wanting to make positive changes to their drug and/or alcohol use, as well raising awareness and supporting family members.
The role:

About the Role
As Recovery Coordinator you will work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers(opiates specific) across all stages of individuals’ recovery journeys, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.
What You’ll Do
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions to promote individual service user progression from engagement, through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery
- Manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing and reviewing on-going recovery plans and treatment, liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the service team, including family members and significant others as appropriate.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
- Knowledge of harm reduction approaches in relation to substance misuse (where relevant to post)
- Understanding of and ability to implement interventions, including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP
- Carrying out assessment and recovery planning and risk management plans

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Coordinator to support Waythrough’s service delivery within Reconnected to Health in HMP Holme House . As a Recovery Coordinator, you will provide 1:1 support for service users, from brief interventions through to structured treatment, including groups, to ensure that every recovery journey is tailored to individual priorities. You will take a “whole person” holistic approach to ensure that every service user’s package of care encompasses all areas of their wellbeing, to achieve the best possible outcomes for every person.
- Manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing and reviewing on-going recovery plans and treatment, liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the service team, including family members and significant others as appropriate.
- Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions to promote individual service user progression from engagement, through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery.
- Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources to increase recovery and social capital, supporting service users and their families within their local community To lead effective case management for allocated service users, including on-going processes such as risk assessments, risk management plans and safeguarding assessments and plans. This includes the effective use of an online case management system.
