Marketing Work Experience

About you?

Are you a motivated, creative individual that would like to learn and gain new skills. This is a hands on opportunity, for a collaborative, innovative communicator that would like to develop Marketing skills.

You do not need prior experience, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn!

Why the Marketing & Communications Team?

This varied opportunity will immerse you in the various methods of marketing, including social media, article writing, press releases and day to day methods to engage our staff and our supporters. Working across our Income Generation Team, you will gain valuable insight into this team.

Throughout your placement you will work with the small marketing team, in their busy roles, working on graphics, getting the next viral social media post or writing a heart felt article for supporters.

Key Tasks:

- Planning social media content

- Taking photographs

- Creating engaging posters

- Assisting with article writing

Additional Information:

This placement is aimed at students aged 14-18 in full/part-time education looking to gain experience in a busy Marketing Team.

Please attach a covering letter as to why you are interested in work experience at St Catherine's Hospice, within the Marketing Team, as well as answering the pre application questions. 

Please specify the dates you would like to attend work experience, please note we can only accommodate placements in June and July.

Our placements will be arranged on a first come first serve basis, therefore this advertisement may close at any time.

You will be based at our Hospice located in Grace Holland Avenue, Pease Pottage, RH11 9SL.
