Oak house is a mental health crisis recovery house. We offer support for those in crisis from a range of 3-7 days. We are a five bedroom facility, with 24 hour staffing. Waking night staff shifts are a mix of 9:00pm - 07:00am and 10:30pm - 08:30am.
The people we support are central to everything we do. Each person who uses our services is a unique individual and they all deserve to be treated as such. As such, the responsibilities may vary from day to day.

Could you spare some time to support wellbeing at Longfield Community Hospice? We are looking for qualified Complementary Therapy Volunteers to provide gentle, client-centred complementary therapy treatments as part of our Living Well Services. In this role, you will offer one-to-one therapies to patients living with a life-limiting illness, as well as to carers, family members and people who have been bereaved. SOL Connect is an established, multi-award-winning digital Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Service that empowers people to live independently in their own homes within the community. Integrating cutting-edge technology with person-centred planning, we collaborate with people to create TEC solutions that enable them to take control of their own care journey. This role is Pivotal in supporting the growth and development of SOL Connect.
Job Purpose
The Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting individuals to live safely, independently, and confidently within their own homes. This position combines technical capability with a compassionate, person centred approach, ensuring that technology is used effectively to enhance wellbeing, reduce risk, and promote independence.
The postholder will install and configure TEC equipment, carry out home assessments, and contribute to risk assessments and personalised TEC support plans. Working closely with operational teams, health and social care professionals, and service users, the TEC Coordinator ensures that the most appropriate technology solutions are identified, implemented, and maintained to meet individual needs.
To be successful in this role, candidates should bring practical experience in community-based support, housing, health, or social care settings, along with confidence in using and troubleshooting digital devices or assistive technologies. A recognised qualification in health, social care, housing, or a related technical field is desirable, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in people’s homes. Full training on TEC equipment will be provided, but an aptitude for learning new technology and a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable individuals are essential.

Mind The Gap Emotional Health Support offers young people an alternative way of accessing mental health support. The service offers support to young people who are struggling to find or engage with the right services. This support offer is youth-work based non-clinical support. Working primarily from Crawley Youth Advice Centre, you will deliver face-to-face sessions using evidence-based interventions to engage, educate and empower young people around issues affecting their emotional wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
- Offer seven sessions of support to each young person, including initial needs assessment and weekly sessions
- Lead on facilitation of emotional well-being and psycho-educational groups
- Support young people transitioning from specialist CAMHS/AMHS services
- Work systemically with parents/carers, educators, and health professionals
- Develop links with agencies and make appropriate referrals
- Promote service user participation and voice
- Comply with safeguarding, health & safety, data protection and EDI policies
Qualifications, knowledge, and experience
- Knowledge of issues facing young people, especially those socially excluded
- Experience in safeguarding children and young people
- Ability to support appropriate mental health pathways
- Training in emotional wellbeing interventions or qualification in youth work
- Understanding of short-term support models
