The project:
Our client is the utilities provider in the South-East geographic area. Their purpose is to deliver services in an environmentally sustainable, economically beneficial, and socially responsible manner and create sustainable long-term value for all.

RNID Near You Co-ordinator will focus and lead on:
- Developing and delivering the RNID Near You, community service across the BHSCTarea.
- Initiate and promote the (HASS) to reach and engage with people who are deaf and hard of hearing.
- The target group for this HASS is adults ordinarily resident in the BHSCT who have been issued with an NHS hearing aid(s) but who are struggling with usage or management of the hearing aid(s); and possibly have stopped using them.
- While you will be home based, there will be regular travel to venues where we provide drop-in sessions in community settings.
You will be responsible for…
- Working in partnership with the Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG) of the Department of Healthto develop HASS within the BHSCT.
- You will recruit, train and support volunteers to deliver our ‘HASS’ throughout the BHSCT in conjunction with Audiology, Sensory Support Teams, RNID Service Manager and other HASS staff.
- Work with the Service Manager to plan activities, meet project objectives and monitor and evaluate the HASS
What you will be doing…
- Ensure delivery of the HASS through use of volunteers in community, care homes and hospital settings.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Service Manager on targets and service expenditure.
- Raise awareness of the service by marketing through appropriate means including networking with local statutory and voluntary agencies.
- Attend outreach events including local information / health fairs and present awareness talks.
About You:
An understanding of the issues affecting deaf people and those with hearing loss or tinnitus and an open and inclusive attitude that supports the development and knowledge of deaf culture. String Teacher
Join Our Team of Inspiring Music Educators! Dudley Performing Arts are currently looking for an upper strings specialist to join the team. This role offers a fixed term contract of 18 hours per week (negotiable), and access to the Teachers Pension Scheme.
The successful candidate will have a high level of performance skills and an excellent base of knowledge and understanding linked to bowed strings tuition. A general knowledge of music is expected to an advanced level, as is the ability to communicate subject knowledge effectively.

At Turning Point, we support people across The UK with Mental Health, Substance Misuse and Learning Disabilities. As a Youth Support Worker, you will ensure that young people living in Turning Point’s supported accommodation are supported to thrive and reach their full potential in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment, increasing their independency to create a positive move on into the community.
As a Youth Support Worker, you will join The Lancashire Young People supported accommodation services that supports 18 young people (Aged 16- 21) at our service in Leyland, The Mill.
Role Responsibility
You will be supporting Young People to manage their finances, gain independent living skills, promote health, wellbeing and healthy lifestyle choices as well as supporting them to maximise their involvement in local training, education, and employment opportunities.
The role is changeable, and every day will be different, some examples of what you will be responsible for are:
- Managing the referrals, sign up, support and move on for the Young People
- Developing, implementing and reviewing individual support plans and risk assessments focussing on young people’s needs, strengths and goals.
- Providing support with budgets and finances
- Provide an excellent rent / service charge collection service, ensuring regular accounts monitoring and contact with people regarding payments
- Completing accurate and detailed daily records for the Young People
- Providing practical support and guidance to the Young People including daily living skills, cooking, cleaning, and ‘moving on’ plans

About the Role
The Barnardo's Co-op Partnership is an exciting, innovative project aiming to support over 1 million young people to build positive futures.
Our Sedgemoor for our Future service is co-designed by young people and built around a social kitchen concept. We create welcoming spaces where young people can:
- Learn to cook healthy, nutritious meals
- Share food and eat together
- Have fun through games and activities
- Explore topics that matter to them
- Build confidence, teamwork, and life skills
Session Details
- Tuesdays– Highbridge, 4:30pm–6:00pm
- Wednesdays– Bridgwater, 4:30pm–6:00pm
Applicants must be available to facilitate these two sessions, you will need to be able to design and deliver these workshops in different places and spaces to help young people develop confidence, teamwork, and skills. You will also need to attend events, find creative ways to engage young people across Sedgemoor, and evaluate sessions by recording outcomes.
Contract Hours
Hours will be between 18.5 – 25 per week (flexible, including evenings).

Sedgemoor For Our Future has been designed by young people, for young people.
The role is flexible with opportunities to support the team in running groupwork sessions designed to support and improve young people's mental wellbeing, access to food through cooking activities and support to run events that young people can access to develop skills and confidence.
Groupwork sessions will largely be running during evenings and during half terms. For Our Future (SFOF) is a service that has been co-designed by local young people and is part of Barnardo's partnership with the Co-op. The partnership has three key aims:
- Improve young people's mental wellbeing
- Improve access to basic needs (food)
- Improve access to opportunities
SFOF runs 2 groups per week, one in Sedgemoor (Weds) and one in Highbridge (Tues) where young people can come together and:

Working Hours
This is a full-time role, working 35 hours a week, from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with a one hour lunch break.
Flexibility to attend some meetings, courses and events held on weekends and outside of normal working hours will be required.
Time off in lieu will be earned for any weekend work.
Additional Information
– This role is offered on a Hybrid work basis (for fulltime employees this is 2 days in the office and the remainder of the week working remotely from home, and for part-time employees this is usually 1 day a week in the office and the remainder working from home).
– When working remotely, the Head of Theatre will be required to work from home in an environment with a high-speed broadband.
– The office remains open from Monday to Friday and is available for those who would prefer to work in the office environment or have difficulties working remotely.
– Hybrid working will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and employees may need to revert to homeworking, in line with any new government advice.
Remuneration
The annual salary for this position will be a Band E, (which ranges from £ 43,631 - 51,330, per annum), depending on experience.
Training
You will be supported in the new role with an initial induction, followed by guidance on ISTD policies and processes to ensure they feel confident, fully informed and equipped to carry out their responsibilities.
