About the role
As a Bank Night Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.
You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.
There will be the opportunity to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.
John Grooms Court is a residential home for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. This service provides 25 single-occupancy, self-contained flats plus two flats for two people.

About the service:
Steam House cafes are purpose designed mental health crisis cafes across Norfolk & Suffolk. We offer a unique and safe cafe-styled space with a fully-trained multidisciplinary team, offering holistic support to adults experiencing mental health crisis – day and night.
The service is operational 7 days per week, day and night, so flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service.
Drawing on experiences and learnings from decades of assistance to those most vulnerable in our community, STEAM provides clients with a calming and informed environment beneficial to their needs.
Each cafe provides guidance, support and personalised pathway plans, which are mindfully coproduced over a period of time with our team, to enhance future wellbeing for the client.
Main Responsibilities:
- To work in conjunction with managers and other key agencies in developing both policy and associated practice that meet the combined needs of the client group
- To provide individual and bespoke support, information, signposting and access to appropriate and relevant services for those wishing to access the crisis hub
- To be involved in supporting those who have low resilience and are at risk of, or are experiencing a mental health crisis
- To liaise with managers or other appropriate persons to ensure the safety of clients and staff

Citizens Advice North East Derbyshire relies on passionate volunteers to help bridge the digital divide in our community. In today’s world, essential services—from job hunting and comparing energy tariffs to managing money and accessing support—are increasingly online-only or easiest to use digitally. Yet many people in our area lack the skills or access to technology they need, leaving them isolated and struggling to access vital services.
Our Digital Inclusion project is at the heart of tackling this challenge. Working with local venues across North East Derbyshire, our volunteers help residents gain the digital skills and confidence they need to safely navigate the online world—from using devices and communicating online, to transacting securely and staying safe.
Whether you have a few hours a week or want to develop new skills yourself, there’s a role that fits you. You’ll gain valuable experience, meet like-minded people, and know that your time is genuinely reducing isolation and improving wellbeing in your community.
What will you do?
- Guide clients in navigating digital devices and accessing online services effectively
- Educate clients on online safety practices and digital security awareness
- Foster confidence and digital literacy through supportive, person-centered engagement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress documentation
- Deliver tailored support through one-to-one consultations, group workshops, or drop-in sessions
- Collaborate with fellow volunteers to design and facilitate comprehensive training programs

What do you need to have?
You don’t need specific qualifications or skills but you’ll need to:
- have a commitment to promoting digital inclusion and reducing social isolation.

- be able to understand complex information and explain it (verbally and writing) so that others understand it

How much time do you need to give?
Ideally, we ask for 5 hours per week to deliver at least 2 one hour sessions, for at least 2 months.

About the role

Based at long term residence facility in Hereford, you will be supporting young people with complex disabilities to live their lives to the full.
There is no such thing as a typical resident at National Star. They have a range of physical and learning disabilities and different hopes and aspirations for the future. From personalised care to simply being there, you will support the residents to pursue their hobbies, learn life skills such as cooking and laundry and lead a busy and active life.
Your first-class people skills will help you to lead a team of care workers, working together to provide a high standard of individualised care, promoting and encouraging our residents’ personal independence. After a comprehensive induction into how we work at National Star, you will be able to work on your own initiative and be able to plan and organise effectively.
We’re anticipating that you will have at least two year’s care experience, ideally with people with a learning and/or physical disability. However it’s not a deal breaker if your care experience has been working in other care fields and you want to take your career in a different direction. It is however important that you have a Level 3 in health or social care. The post requires shift work, with early shifts starting at 7am and late shifts ending at 10pm and 11pm with alternating weekend working.

We are seeking a qualified (or soon-to-qualify) Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our team as a High Intensity Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to adults from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, both in one-to-one and group settings, in line with IAPT guidance.
In this role, you will assess service users’ suitability for interventions and deliver high intensity CBT to support their recovery and wellbeing. Alongside your clinical work, you will provide line management and clinical supervision to a Senior PWP, as well as take on case management, leadership responsibilities, and represent the service in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
This role requires a flexible, team-focused individual who can adapt to the needs of the organisation, work across sites, and build strong collaborative relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners. At times, you may be the most senior representative on site, making leadership, professionalism, and integrity vital to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high intensity, evidence-based CBT interventions (individual and group).
- Assess suitability of service users for psychological interventions.
- Provide line management, clinical supervision, and support to Senior PWPs.
- Manage cases effectively and contribute to leadership duties, including report writing and MDT meetings.
- Work flexibly across sites to meet the needs of the service.
- Build collaborative working relationships with managers, colleagues, and partner agencies.
- Support the service in achieving agreed outcomes and targets.
Essential Criteria
- Qualification (or soon to qualify) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
- Experience working with adults with mental health difficulties, ideally in a primary care or IAPT setting.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice sector and/or community services.
- Experience managing and developing staff, including providing line management and clinical supervision.
- Demonstrated competence as a psychological therapy practitioner (as outlined in Roth & Pilling 2007).
- Strong organisational and workload management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Understanding of the need for evidence-based interventions (low and high intensity).
- Ability to reflect on and develop own practice.
- Flexibility to meet service needs, including working across different sites.
- Ability to apply training effectively into practice.

Linn Moor School and Campus Education Service
Working across both the Education and Care services at our Linn Moor Campus, you will help to provide a quality service to meet the needs of our students with additional support needs. An SCQF Level 7 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent) and an HNC in Social Care would be beneficial but it is not essential at this stage (although you must be willing to work towards this or the Level 9 Residential Childcare Qualification).
