Days and sleepovers available • Juniper Green, Edinburgh

Are you a fun-loving, motivated person who loves going the extra mile to brighten someone’s day?

Do you value a role where you feel supported, appreciated, and part of something meaningful?

If so, a Support Worker role with our award‑winning charity might be exactly what you’ve been looking for!

About the Role

We’re looking for a Female Support Worker to join our friendly team and support two wonderful young ladies who share their own home in the Juniper Green area of Edinburgh.

These ladies have faced challenges due to learning disabilities and Autism, but they don’t let that stop them from living life to the fullest!

They love theatre trips, music and dancing, clothes shopping, holidays, swimming — and they’re always excited to try something new. If you’re creative, energetic, and up for a challenge, they’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part of a diverse, supportive team helping the ladies live happy, safe, and fulfilling lives. Your role may include:

  • Supporting with medication
  • Cooking and meal preparation
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Helping maintain their home
  • Supporting with finances

Shift Patterns

We provide support 24/7, so flexibility is key. Shifts typically include:

  • 9am – 11pm, followed by a sleepover, then working until 2pm the next day
  • 9am – 4pm
  • 2pm – 10pm

We are seeking flexible bank staff who are available to work a variety of shifts, ideally including some weekend work.

Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of a warm, welcoming team that truly cares — about the people we support and each other. You’ll make a real difference every day, and you’ll never be short of smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments.

Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010
