Our North East Essex Sanctuary is a service that provides support to those who are at risk of experiencing ill mental health or are feeling overwhelmed between 10am and 11pm, 365 days per year. As a mental health support worker, you will assess, monitor and support individuals on a one to one basis and via group work. You will proactively work in partnership with a variety of our teams and wider organisations within the locality whilst supporting service users to reach their goals.
You will be part of an experienced team who provide emotional support, face to face, online or via telephone and group work, through active listening, de-escalation and distraction techniques, to prevent admission into emergency departments.
Support workers will work either early (10:00-18:00) or late (18:00-23:00) shifts, which will include weekends and all bank holidays as our services runs 365 days a year to ensure we provide the support our service users need. This role is based across both sites - Colchester and Clacton, and you would need to be able to work in both locations.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Response is looking for an enthusiastic, caring person to join their dedicated team at Scrutton Close & Newman Court! The Scrutton Close/Newman Court team focus on supporting clients within their own accommodation. Staff offer a high level of support, and work closely with clients to achieve their personal goals and gain increased independence before taking the next step in their journey.
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to residents with serious mental illness including adults who have a primary diagnosis of a psychotic illness often with one or more coexisting conditions such physical health issues, neurodiversity, drugs & alcohol use and cognitive impairment.
Support workers work with residents to enable them to achieve and sustain a rewarding life in the community. Working proactively with residents to promote independence, well-being and ability to manage their own mental health. Staff are responsible for ensuring safety is always maintained though good housing management, risk assessment and health & safety practice. Supporting people to maintain tenancies, look after their homes and develop daily living skills.

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our field operations
team. Based in Harwich, Essex, working predominantly across the East and South
Coast of England, Gibraltar while sometime venturing to Wales, Cornwall, The Channel
Islands, the Isles of Scilly and beyond within the UK, in some of the most
awe-inspiring coastal locations. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to
play a key role in maintaining the UK’s vital maritime safety assets while
working alongside experienced engineers, technicians, and maritime
professionals.What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for managing the ongoing maintenance of an estate of 21
historic lighthouses and their associated cottages and out buildings, traveling
to many coastal areas and offshore locations in support of the maritime Aids to
Navigation.
The role will include the following tasks:
Draw up contract specifications and negotiate best value contracts for civil maintenance contracts.
Identify the technical suitability of contractors to carry out civil's work for Trinity House.
Ensure CDM Compliance for all necessary work.
Ensure all necessary planning and listed building consents are obtained.
Act as the Trinity House Client when managing contractors on site, ensuring all work is carried out to the agreed specification and quality.
Ensure that reports and returns are entered directly into the appropriate MMIS system.
Working with our Building Services team to ensure the estate asset reports and engineering standards are maintained to the highest level.
To be successful in this role you should ideally have:
Skills and experience
- An experienced building maintenance practitioner able to work unsupervised,
including in selecting and managing building contractors.
- Understanding of management information systems
- A thorough working knowledge of the HSE requirements as relating to the
construction and building industries, in particular those relating to CDM.Qualifications
- A level 4 qualification in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent
experience
- NEBOSH CDM Certificate
- Full driving licence

About the role:
As an Electrical Installations Tutor, your role will encompass delivering practical and theoretical electrical training, aligning with company, and awarding organizations' guidelines.
You'll handle courses such as C&G 2365 Level 2 & 3, C&G 2382, C&G 2391, C&G 2377, C&G 2921, as well as BPEC Solar PV and Battery Storages, while possibly developing training materials to meet specific requirements.

What you’ll need

- Solid knowledge of Electrical and Science principles
