Join our busy, friendly Dining Hall team serving students, staff and guests in our large modern College.
Your main duties will be assisting in the preparation of dining rooms and serving of all meals to guests as well as carrying out other catering duties as required including coffee shop and bar work.
Shift times may vary depending on College needs. As this is a casual role there is no guarantee of being offered any shifts.

Dining Hall General Assistant

Full time, permanent, £25,776 per annum (£13.67 per hour).
We are currently looking for a full time General Assistant to work in the Dining Hall.
Working in any area of the Catering Department to meet the needs of the College, General Assistant duties will include; providing servery, plate and buffet services to the highest standard, serving meals, snacks and beverages within our student coffee shop, preparing and clearing food service areas and tables, stocking and replenishing counters and fridges, occasional evening bar work.
You will be expected to work 36.25 hours per week; this includes weekends and evenings with two days off given per week.
We are looking for a team player who has experience in a catering environment and is able to serve to a high standard.
Fixed term for 3 years from 28 September 2026
The Governing Body of St Anne’s College invites applications for the Drapers Non-Stipendiary Junior Research Fellowship in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
The JRF is open to those at an early stage of their academic career. You will either be in a fully-funded research position within a department of the University of Oxford, or possess a firm offer for such a position at the time of interview.
The post-holders must be undertaking research into Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science, funded by an outside grant body or the University of Oxford, for the duration of the Fellowship.
Alongside conducting research in their Oxford department, the successful candidate will be invited to contribute to the College by engaging in its academic life, for example by:
• attending and/or organising talks and seminars in the College;
• contributing to outreach work done by the College to encourage applications from students in under-represented groups;
• dining in the College at lunch time and/or at occasional formal dinners;
• generally adding value to the academic life of the College.

The College seeks to appoint a Development and Communications Assistant to be based in the Development Office as a crucial member of the team, helping to support with all aspects of our work. The post calls for an individual who is hardworking with a good eye for detail, who is capable of efficiently recording data and checking it, as well as prioritising and carrying out other administrative tasks in a busy environment. The post requires the ability to work well with others and on your own. The candidates need to be flexible in thinking and approach, and relish the opportunity to be part of an ambitious team.
The Development and Communications Assistant will work with the Senior Communications Manager on the College’s website, social media and printed output. They will also work with databases; efficiently recording and checking data, and will help organise and occasionally assist at fundraising events held by the College. They will be first point of contact for all queries, helping to ensure communication with alumnae and donors is timely and of a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, previous experience in an administrative role, excellent IT Skills and the capacity to readily learn new software skills. The candidate should also have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
