Volunteer Collecting Box Administrator

Wisdom Hospice Charity is on the lookout for an enthusiastic collecting box administrator to help with daily tasks and managing our amazing volunteer box collectors.
Location:
Wisdom Hospice Charity – High Bank, Rochester, Kent, ME1 2NU
The role:

Reviewing new volunteer applications and documents
-
Creating electronic records and filing documents
-
Updating information on our CRM system
-
Emailing potential volunteers
-
Monitoring volunteer requests
-
Requesting references and DBS as required
-
Working with the team to manage volunteers effectively
-
Ad hoc administrative tasks
Skills:
-
Computer Savvy
-
Skilled in using Microsoft office software
-
Adaptable to changing priorities
-
A great team player
-
Occasionally, you will be expected to work independently and take initiative

Volunteer Fundraising Administrator

Scanning and printing

Researching and contacting potential supporters in the local area

Taking part in any events and other administration processes to support the fundraising team.

Data filling and filing

Contacting organisers and suppliers for events
Skills:

You will be friendly and approachable and enjoy talking to people.

You will have a good range of IT skills, especially Excel.

You’ll be willing to coordinate events, contact people on behalf of Wisdom Hospice Charity and attend fundraising events as pre-agreed with the fundraising team.

Volunteer Donation Box Collector &
Leaflet Distributor
We’re looking for friendly volunteers who can help us maintain Wisdom Hospice Charity donation boxes in their local area. ors.
Location:
Various locations to be agreed with the fundraising team but all-around Medway, Sittingbourne & Sheppey
The role:

Collecting replacement boxes from the fundraising team in Rochester
-
Swapping boxes with local supporters
-
Issuing receipts to supporters
-
Seeking potential new locations for donation boxes
-
Supporting the fundraising team with collection box plans
Skills:

Good communicator and relationship management skills
-
Basic knowledge of Wisdom Hospice Charity’s services and initiatives
-
Vibrant and cheery character
-
Passion for Wisdom Hospice Charity

Hours: Couple of hours and agreement with Line Manager but dependent on availability of volunteer.
Days: Ad-hoc but donation boxes are to be returned to the Hospice every week.
