Registered General Nurse – Queenscourt at Home
Band 5
£31,208 – £37,864 per annum/pro rata (Dependant on Experience)
Permanent, 30 hours per week
We are looking to appoint a qualified, motivated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable practitioner. The post holder will provide planned nursing care for patients and their families primarily in the patient’s home but across the Inpatient Unit and within Queenscourt Connect services if required, within the scope of their role. You will report to the Clinical Lead Nurse in Queenscourt at Home and will be responsible for the assessment of care needs, and the development, implementation, and evaluation of care. You will communicate sensitively with patients, families and health professionals and participate in the delivery of breathlessness management programme, outpatient clinics and bereavement support. Liaising with members of primary care services, external agencies and Queenscourt staff will be a key part of this role.
To be successful in this role, you must be a registered Nurse and be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, empathy, and compassion. You should also have experience using patient information systems and Microsoft office.

12-month fixed term contract
37.5 hours per week
We are looking to appoint a qualified, motivated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable practitioner on a 12-month fixed term basis. The post holder will ideally have post registration general nursing experience and good IT skills. The successful applicant will work predominantly on our Inpatient Unit but will be expected to work in other areas of the organisation as required. There is a rotational shift pattern workings early, late and night shifts. Comprehensive induction and training programme will be provided for the successful candidate.
New qualified RGN’s are welcome to apply. A preceptorship programme will be available. The successful candidate will be supported with the opportunity for clinical development and education/academic achievement (up to MSC).

Healthcare Assistant (Queenscourt at Home)
£24,735 per annum/pro rata

Location: Southport, Merseyside
We have an exciting position available for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Queenscourt at Home team. Following a comprehensive induction, the post holder will be expected to work unsupervised, with confidence as a lone worker in the patients’ home and be able to communicate effectively and work alongside all members of the primary healthcare team. You will deliver a range of patient care duties as indicated by the Queenscourt Co-ordinator providing support to patients and their families enabling them to remain at home at the end of life.
The post holder will need to have experience of caring within the community and experience of caring for palliative care patients at end of life. The post holder will also need to be able to demonstrate empathy and communicate clearly and effectively about death and dying with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Flexibility around available hours to work both day and night shifts is essential.
A car driver is essential for this role.
