Purpose of Role
This role supports The Wallich’s Residential Services by helping to set accurate rent and service charge levels and by providing strong financial and administrative support. Working with colleagues across Finance, Housing Management, Development and Operations, the post holder will help ensure that income, costs and property-related data are complete, accurate and properly reflected in budgets, forecasts and rent schedules.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Rent and Service Charge Setting:
* Work with colleagues across The Wallich to support the effective setting of rent and service charge levels for Residential Services.
* Catalogue and cross-reference The Wallich’s responsibilities for repairs, maintenance and health & safety in Management Agreements with social landlords against service charges, ensuring sufficient income is recovered to meet reasonable property management costs.
* Liaise with People and Talent and operational managers so that staffing structures and costs are correctly reflected in rent schedules.
* Work with the Development Team and Residential Service Managers to prepare rent schedule costings that reflect property specifications, including furniture, fixtures and fittings.
* Correspond with partner landlords to obtain and verify details of their rent and service charges for relevant properties.
Supporting the Finance Business Partner:
* Assist the Finance Business Partner and Development Team with budgets and forecasts for planned and reactive maintenance and capital spend.
* Support Residential Services managers in reviewing variances against budget, providing clear explanations and evidence as required.
* Prepare and post journals, adjustments and corrections as authorised, ensuring accurate coding and adherence to financial procedures.
* Work with the Development Team to identify capital expenditure within repairs and maintenance spend and ensure correct treatment in the accounts.
Data Management, Reporting and Collaboration:
* Maintain accurate financial and property-related records in Inform (Salesforce), the Property Register, and finance systems.

Purpose of Role
To provide residential support that enables and empowers Service Users to address housing and/or personal difficulties, build their skills and confidence, and ultimately improve their ability to maintain their future accommodation. The support will not create or increase dependence. It will ‘do with’ rather than ‘do for’, so it’s likely that support will involve accompanying Service Users initially, in order to familiarise them with an activity or appointment. Support will help people improve their control, understanding and involvement in dealing with the issues that affect them, and assist Service Users to achieve their preferred outcomes. In addition, to assist with the housing management needs of the project ensuring the delivery of a safe, secure and effective service.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.

Project Description
The project operates across Carmarthen working with vulnerable adults and young people who are at risk of homelessness. The project provides housing related support within people’s homes or in the community, with the aim of preventing homelessness and increasing independence.
Purpose of Role
To coordinate and provide floating support that enables and empowers Service Users to address housing and/or personal difficulties, build their skills and confidence, and ultimately improve their ability to maintain their current or future accommodation. The support will not create or increase dependence. It will ‘do with’ rather than ‘do for’ to enable people to improve their control, understanding and involvement in dealing with the issues that affect them, and assist Service Users to achieve their preferred outcomes.
Please note: Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential for this role.

Project Description
The projects are located in Wrexham & Flintshire and works with homeless men and women aged 18 and over. The service provides residential support with the aim of meeting individuals’ needs, which promote independence and lead to a sustainable move-on.
Purpose of Role
Our relief workers provide critical support to our projects, helping to cover short or long term planned and unplanned absences or gaps in our rotas. This helps ensure that we have high quality support in place for our service users at all times.
Sometimes this will be planned in advance, and at other times it may be at short notice to help cover a shift which has become unexpectedly available.
We take a flexible approach to relief work and there is no obligation on you to take shifts which are offered out if they're not convenient for you. This means you can work as much or as little as you like depending on the shifts available.
