Location: Hybrid, working from home and our office based in West London
Salary: £26,500 per annum
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, inclusive of a daily 1 hour paid lunch break

Job Purpose
Managing MHI’s digital channels and campaigns, creating audience-focused content, ensuring brand consistency, supporting partnerships, and delivering marketing initiatives for services including Shout and The Mix.
Key Responsibilities
- Film and edit videos for a range of audiences to support our social media content, our
partnerships, volunteer and fundraising communications and our flagship podcast The Mix Six, using in-app video editing, CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro - Support with partnership specific requests, such as working on creative content and marketing toolkits for multiple audiences, image searches, asset creation and paid marketing promotion for our commissioned partners
- Work from Adobe templates to build on marketing asset libraries and toolkits for partners
- Support the corporate and commissioned partnerships with creative ideation, content development and campaign ideas around key calendar moments e.g World Mental Health Day
- Supporting the Senior Marketing Officer with the onboarding and relationship management of a number of partners and NHS ICBs (Integrated Care Boards)
- Support with community management across our social media channels, responding to enquiries, identifying opportunities and flagging any reputational risks
- Support with marketing campaigns across paid channels including Google Ads, TikTok and other channels as required
- Support the team with data analysis across content and campaigns ensuring optimisation, effectiveness and key learnings are considered as part of our marketing and content strategies for fundraising, partnerships and growth where applicable
- Provide opportunities for staff and our volunteer community to be involved in key moments for the organisation to help amplify our work
- Develop relationships with key influencers who can help promote our services to target audiences
- Support the team with blogs and content for the websites, keeping them up to date and maintained with a focus on best practise in SEO
- Feed into content planning, thinking about moments that resonate with our key audiences, staying on top of trends and insights
Person Specification
Essential
- Website management and CMS skills. Wagtail an advantage
- Experience creating a range of multimedia engaging content including social media graphics and videos, blog posts, podcasts etc. for specific audiences across multiple digital platforms,
including website, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. Adobe Creative Suite experience an advantage. - Reporting against KPIs for content and campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Strong copywriting skills
- Strong planning, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised to manage multiple requests and projects
- Ability to work with others as part of a team, providing support as required, and building and maintaining effective working relationships with individuals in order to achieve objectives.
- Ability to deal with confidential information sensitively and appropriately.
Desirable
- Highly developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills in order to deal effectively, efficiently and appropriately with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working in a mental health organisation and/or understanding of the mental health sector
