RH is a chatty and friendly person who enjoys gaming and having a laugh. He finds joy in listening to music, watching wrestling and spending time with his partner.
RH is looking for a PA to support him with some domestic duties around his home, meal preparation. There may be times where you support RH within the community, which includes traveling to and from activities or events, as well as ensuring clear pathways for movement to allow RH to navigate his wheelchair safely. RH can experience severe anxiety and can sometimes stutter so, when required it’s important you’re able to provide patience and calming reassurance.
This role involves flexibility depending on RH’s needs but will be:
14 hours per week @ £13.50 per hour
The position is home-based in Glasgow City Centre (G3 8GN) with potentially some time spent in the local area for outings and appointments

2 x Personal Assistants for R
R is a bright, funny and energetic individual who is looking for a personal assistant to help him live life to the fullest. He’s a determined entrepreneur in the making and excited to find someone who matches his energy and enthusiasm. R is a manual wheelchair user with cerebral palsy and uses a communication aid.
Together, you could be attending R’s activities in the car and helping him to participate with his friends. On other days, you could also be going out for food together as well as helping R with his physio exercises. R loves staying active by doing frame running, swimming, going to the gym and doing exercises at home, and you will be required to support him with these activities which is why it’s essential that you have a lot of energy yourself.
The ideal match would be someone with experience but who is still willing to learn from R himself, as he’s a unique individual with his own ways of communicating. Someone who shares his interest in music and sports and is adventurous would also be desirable.
This role takes place in Robroyston, so being nearby or having access to transport would be helpful. You will be required to take public transport with R to take him to his activities, however someone with clean license and a car is desirable. Some manual handling and personal care are involved depending on R’s needs. There will be 2 positions available for approximately 14 and 15 hours per week with an hourly rate of £13.60. Please note: this job position will be contracted on a Zero-Hours basis.

Personal Assistant for Angus
Angus is an active young man who is non verbal autistic so looking for PAs to support him in his busy life so he can experience as much as possible.
Angus enjoys both indoor and outdoor activities, including trips to sealife, safari Park and zoos and also his hobbies like the gym, pottery, cinema, swimming, Skiing, walks and eating out. He will need support while doing his activities to stay safe, communicate with others and understand what is expected and needed of him. The role is varied as he needs personal support while in the bathroom and financial support while paying for things and everything in between.
The position is based in the Kirkintilloch area and is for between 9 and 18 hours a week either taking him out or supporting him at home so I can go out. He will have 2 to 1 support as it is not safe to leave him unsupervised while his PA has a toilet break but in the house 1 to 1 would be fine.
I’m looking for someone on maybe a Tuesday evening for 5.30pm till 9pm and a Saturday from 9.30am till 3pm. The evening and times are flexible depending on what activity he wants to do and PAs availability. The role will be rewarding, varied and enjoyable for someone who is friendly, reliable and has a positive outlook on life. Must be able to work on their own or be part of a team and flexible. Driving licence and car preferred but not essential.

Personal Assistant for Mr Ahmed
Mr Ahmed is a warm, friendly and kind-natured person who is looking for a PA to help support his daily activities. Every day is unique, but activities might include going for walks in the nearby park, attending sessions at a local day centre, or simply spending quality time at home. Other responsibilities include helping Mr Ahmed with his personal care, such as toileting, clothing and eating, and overall being a positive presence in his life.
The right person to work with Mr Ahmed would be someone friendly, active, good at timekeeping and who uses a hands-on approach. Although not essential, it would also be ideal to find someone who has a car and speaks Urdu. If you have previous experience of working with people who have Alzheimer’s and Dementia, and therefore have the kindness and understanding required, this could be the job for you!
Work takes place in the Southside of Glasgow. You would be expected to work 16 hours a week, split over 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday) for 4 hours each day. Ideal shift times would be 10.00AM – 2.00PM, but this is negotiable for the right candidate. The hourly rate for this role is £13.60.

Personal Assistant for Junior
Junior is a happy quiet boy who is looking for a personal assistant to help him live life to the fullest.
Junior goes to several activities throughout the week, including piano lessons and swimming lessons. He would require a PA who can help him get to these activities and help him participate, for example by helping him get ready for his swimming. In addition to this, he would be grateful to have someone who’s happy to take part in some of his favourite hobbies with him, such as watching a movie in the cinema or going for walks in the park.
A good match would be someone who is kind and patient, and who can adapt their communication style to suit Junior. Junior uses some spoken words alongside Makaton and occasionally uses a talking device. He will also need a driver with their own car so he can easily get to all his activities – mileage to drive Junior to and from his activities will be covered. A female PA would be preferred as Junior feels more comfortable with women.
It is also important to note that Junior needs someone who is vigilant and will watch him when out and about, because he doesn’t always have an awareness of the dangers around him. He also has a physical disability which causes him to be a little unsteady when walking but he tends to use a walker or a wheelchair for longer distances.
This position is for 12 hours per week regularly, which increase up to 26 hours per week during school holidays so it would be ideal if you can accommodate these extra hours. The regular shifts will be Saturdays 10.30AM – 4.30PM and Sundays 6.00PM – 9.00PM. The remaining 3 hours will be worked on a third day which is negotiable. The hourly rate is £13.60, and the position is based in Govan (G51).
