Delivery and Collections Driver - Marsh Barton, EX2 8RB
Part-time - 22.5 hours/week, working 3 days Monday to Friday
Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour
Working in our Logistics team based at the HEC, you will provide excellent service to Hospiscare’s internal and external customers. You’ll be responsible for the safe loading and offloading of household items, including furniture and white goods, the correct handling of goods in transit and undertaking House Clearances.
In addition, you’ll be involved in carrying out daily van checks, maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle, completing delivery and collection paperwork, securing Gift Aid income, and assisting with the sorting and packing of smaller household items.
As this is a challenging and physically demanding job, you’ll be resilient with an excellent level of fitness, and be fully capable of undertaking the manual handling requirements of the role. It would be beneficial if you have a good geographical knowledge of the Exeter, Mid and East Devon area.

As a Call Handler in our Clinical Co-ordination Centre, you will be the first point of contact for patients, carers and healthcare professionals calling the charity. Liaising with registered nursing staff, Clinical Nurse Specialists and wider community teams, you will ensure patients are prioritised appropriately.
