The Lincoln Grocery - Grocery Assistant provides support to the Manager and Assistant Manager in the daily running of the Grocery, ensuring excellent customer service, dealing with stock, assisting volunteers, and helping deliver affordable food and support services to local families in partnership with the church and wider community.

Part Time 7 hours per week
To support the Community Grocery Manager in the everyday running of the Grocery.
- Completing regular stock takes and ensuring the shop is adequately stocked and well presented at all times.
- Providing a great level of customer service and building a good rapport with Community Grocery members, sharing your faith wherever the opportunity arises as well as encouraging members to engage with courses.
- Assisting in operating the day-to-day running of the Grocery and providing good customer service.
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety and food safety requirements and the completion of relevant documentation.

Neal Street Espresso is a coffee shop with a difference – serving the best specialty coffee whilst empowering prison leavers to rebuild their lives and stand firm in their faith.
Working closely with the coffee shop manager to champion customer service, a welcoming environment and coffee quality, ensuring standards are kept high, staff and Team Members are well trained, and menus are updated regularly. As assistant manager you will be responsible for leading the NSE team and run the shop floor in the absence of the coffee shop manager.

The Community Grocery is here to help by offering a bridge between food banks and supermarkets. Through our network of 30+ stores, members who would otherwise go hungry have access to affordable food, household goods and wrap-around support. The postholder will be joining our growing team at an exciting time, managing the Community Grocery National Distribution Centre, serving our network of Community Groceries. The role also includes some driving duties and coordinating the recruitment, training, and scheduling of a team of drivers.
