Role/Job Title: Outreach Support WorkerLocation: Office Littlehampton, with Support Packages in Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, Chichester, and other areas across West Sussex
Hours of Work:Part-Time role available (16- 20 hours per week, including some weekends)
Optional Sleep-In shifts at £62 per night when available
Salary:£12.21 per hour
All mileage between support and during support is paid at 45p per mile, All travel time in working day is paid
Drivers with business insurance are required, however some shifts are based in Bognor only

About the Role:
At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
We are looking for Support workers to join our team to cover Outreach Support to Adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
As part of our Outreach Service we also provide 24/7 support to two people living in their own home in Bognor. This means that several shifts are available across each day/ week. We have day shifts, afternoons and evenings as well as sleep in shifts. Sleep in shifts also include a morning shift until 9/10am.
We are looking to build their team of Support Workers who also support other Service Users in the area.
Our shifts can include:
- Weekdays various from 9am-4pm across a range of Service Users.
- Evenings from 2:45pm till 6pm (till 10pm if Sleep in)
- Sleep in shifts 10pm-7am inc evening 6-10 & waking shift 7am-9/10am
- Weekends: 9:30-4:30pm, (Sleep ins optional when available)
- Some shorter sessions with Service Users at weekends
About You:
- As a support worker at Aspens you will have enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards supporting people with Autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
- You do not need to have had previous experience in these areas, but we do ask that you are a compassionate, caring and friendly person who is willing to learn and take advantage of the full training, support and career opportunities we offer.
- You will have good communication skills, including listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the people we support using a variety of different methods as required.
- You will be willing to support individuals in whatever activities they choose to do, be it within the community or within the home, making it an enriching and fun activity, supporting individuals to make their own choices, learn new skills to be as independent as possible and to achieve their ambitions as set out in their care plan
- You will be willing to perform domestic duties and support individuals to take part in such tasks, such as preparing ingredients and cooking healthy meals.
- You will provide personal care when required in a sensitive manner, and provide emotional and behavioural support when needed.
- It is desirable that you are a as flexible as possible as we are looking for team members who can cover a mixture or early and late shifts (including at weekends) as well as sleep in shifts. We are open to discussion to fit in with your availability, however all support is driven by the Service Users needs

The people we support at Saxby Lane are female and have preferences for females to undertake care that is personal and intimate, affecting privacy and decency. Both residents require lone working support staff and, at this time, whilst building a staff team, we are only able to offer roles to female applicants in order to respect the people we supports' requests and wishes.
An exciting opportunity for caring individuals to join this new supported living service and team working with individuals between the ages of 21-30. The role will include supporting individuals with their daily lives and ensuring that their interests are met by taking part in activities inside the home and within the community – for example, accessing day opportunities, activities such as games nights, gym, bowling, swimming etc.

About the Role:
The support worker provides flexible support to children, young people and their families within both group environments (building based and community based)
They will work with young people and children aged 8-25 years with Autism Spectrum Conditions and associated disabilities to help develop individual skills and confidence in all aspects of daily life, including building positive relationships, activities, leisure and social skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
· To support children and young people who attend our groups to remove barriers so that they can engage as fully as possible in order to benefit from the group objectives and realise their abilities.
· To support children and young people to engage in activities that broaden their opportunities to be part of their local community.
· To work closely with the Group Lead and other Support Workers to provide a safe and enjoyable group environment for the children, young people and their families.
· Develop close professional relationships with colleagues, children and young people and maintain up-to date picture of the individual needs of each service user.
· To provide personal care if required to children and young people where needed whilst maintaining the dignity of the individual.
· To support children and young people to attend the groups by providing support prior and after sessions where needed for individuals.
· To provide support to the Group Lead to document and reflect on group sessions.
· To comply fully with Aspens Charities expected practices and procedures including Child Safeguarding.
· To conduct yourself at all times in a way that represents the values and principles of Aspens.

About the Service:
The team within the Children and Young People’s Service work closely with families, carers and other social services involved in a child/young person’s care to build a package of support that is right for every individual and help every step of the journey. Our East Sussex services include social support groups, after-school clubs, Saturday clubs, community-based 1-1 support and holiday activities as well as residential holidays for children and young people with autism and learning disabilities aged 8yrs to 25yrs.
Our existing staff teams deliver excellent services based on the needs of the individual, teaching skills and creating support solutions that enable individuals to manage the impact of their difficulties. The staff team have the skills, knowledge, expertise and confidence to best support individuals with neurological needs.

About the Role: At St Matthew Road, we support 8-10 individuals with varying levels of support needs, promoting independence and skill-building. As a Support Worker, you will play an essential role in helping individuals live fulfilling, independent lives. Your responsibilities will include supporting with personal care, medical appointments, community activities, and much more. You will also assist with 1-1 support, ensuring each person has access to the care they need and deserve.

About the role:
This is a unique opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker who would relish the opportunity for career development.
This role includes both lone working and teamwork. You will support with medication, personal care, nutrition, and maintain a clean environment through laundry and housekeeping duties. Tasks include monitoring service users during the night, completing required documentation such as night checks, incident forms, and observation records, and providing support according to individualised care plans.
You will also liaise with families and professionals, participate in training and supervisions, and ensure policies and procedures are followed. Aspens offers flexible shifts and support for professional development in a rewarding environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Supporting service users with administration of medication (and keeping a record of medication administered)
· Supporting with personal care needs and nutritional needs
· Lone working with confidence and ability.
· Keeping the environment clean with laundry duties and ironing during the night
· Delivering agreed support to Individuals at night based on personalised care plans
· Completing night checks on Individuals and recording as required
· Completing night reports and other relevant forms such as seizure forms, accident/incident forms, fridge/freezer temperature
· Supporting with moving and handling requirements during the night
· Completing daily observation sheets, ensuring a smooth flow of information to facilitate good communication within the staffing team, as well as professionals who require viewing of these.
· Working with families and relevant professionals to keep all parties updated on relevant and necessary information
· Keeping service users safe and reporting any changes or health concerns
· Attending training, participating in supervision sessions with nominated manager and attending staff meetings as required by your line manager.
· Fully implementing policies and procedures of the organisation and that all recording systems are completed accurately on a regular basis. To sign to say that all policies and procedures have been read.

Briars is the first of its kind, accredited service delivering care and support to individuals with learning disabilities that have gone on to receive a diagnosis of dementia. Creating a functional but homely environment, Briars works to deliver a range of activities and experiences, whilst supporting to maintain autonomy and independence, with support and guidance. Due to the variety within our services and the different support needs of the individuals we work with; the role of a Support Worker is one with great diversity and challenges for employees at any stage of their career. The role of a Support Worker can range from team based or lone working care roles. As a support worker the day-to-day tasks that you will be required to complete can include
Duties & Responsibilities:

About the Role:
At Aspens, we have over 100 years of experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and on the autism spectrum as well as children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities or complex needs. The role of a Support Worker can range from team based or lone working care roles. As a support worker the day-to-day tasks that you will be required to complete can include:
- Supporting service users with administration of medication
- Supporting with personal care needs and nutritional needs
- To support with making and attending medical appointments, ensuring accurate comprehensive records are kept.
- Supporting food shopping and individual’s personal shopping needs
- Supporting with laundry duties and cooking and cleaning
- Supporting with finances and other administrative tasks
- Supporting with moving and handling requirements and using hoists
- Supporting with social activities and accessing community-based services including those required to promote health and wellbeing.
- Offering emotional support to service users and acting as a positive role model enabling the service user to lead a fulfilling positive lifestyle.

St Matthew Road:
A residential home and provides accommodation for up to 10 people with learning disabilities. In particular, they cater for people on the Autistic Spectrum, Asperger Syndrome, and Mental Health Issues. St Matthew Road is a registered care service providing accommodation for people with learning disabilities, complex needs and associated health issues.

About the Role
As Registered Service Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational management, quality assurance, and development of both services. You will be a visible leader within the services, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and Aspens Charities’ policies, while promoting a culture of excellence, inclusion and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with the Regional Area Manager and senior leadership team to drive service development, manage resources effectively, and ensure the best outcomes for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a large staff team across two residential services
- Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding and quality assurance processes
- Manage recruitment, supervision, appraisals and staff development
- Ensure effective budget and resource management

About You
You will be an enthusiastic, organised and resilient leader with proven experience in managing residential care services.
Essential requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Previous management experience within residential care services
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation
- Experience managing staff performance, HR processes, and investigations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Driving licence

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Activity Assistant / Support Worker to join our team at Sussex House Day Services in Battle.
Working under the supervision of the Manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Support Workers, you will support individuals with autism, learning disabilities and physical disabilities to engage in meaningful daytime activities, hobbies and interests. The role focuses on promoting independence, choice and a fulfilling lifestyle through positive support and structured activity programmes.

Key Responsibilities
l Support people we support with personal, social, emotional and recreational needs
l Assist with and deliver individual and group activity programmes
l Provide 1:1 support where required
l Support service users to access community-based activities
l Record and evidence progress through notes, photos and other documentation
l Maintain high standards of care, safety and professionalism
l Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
l Drive service vehicles (including minibuses if D1 qualified) to transport service users

Essential Requirements
- Availability Monday–Friday between 8:30am and 7:30pm
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to complete the Care Certificate (if not already achieved)
Desirable
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or physical disabilities
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required
- Local to Battle or able to travel

About the Role:
Our Supported Living Services support adults of all ages with autism spectrum conditions and other learning disabilities or related complex support needs. As a Support Worker in our Supported Living Homes, you will work as part of a strong and dedicated team, playing a big role in the support we give those that live there throughout their day to day lives. We are currently recruiting for our Supported Living and Outreach services (SLOR). Honeysuckles (High Brooms),
Honeysuckles is a service for females only with autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
It is a 4 bed house
It has a large communal area to sit and relax in, with a space for dining
There are two kitchen areas, a shared toilet on the ground floor and a shared bathroom with shower is on the first floor at the top of the stairs
There is a garage to store minimal items if needed
The are no night staff
We are looking for full-time flexible Support Workers to assist with covering days - can be discussed at interview. Flexibility to work every other weekend will also be required for this role.
As a support worker the day-to-day tasks that you will be required to complete can include:
· Supporting service users with administration of medication
· Supporting with personal care needs and nutritional needs
· To support with making and attending medical appointments, ensuring accurate comprehensive records are kept.
· Supporting food shopping and individual’s personal shopping needs
· Supporting with laundry duties and cooking and cleaning
· Supporting with finances and other administrative tasks
· Supporting with moving and handling requirements and using hoists
· Supporting with social activities and accessing community-based services including those required to promote health and wellbeing.
· Offering emotional support to service users and acting as a positive role model enabling the service user to lead a fulfilling positive lifestyle.
· Writing daily notes and completing relevant forms such as accident/incident forms
· Completing daily observation sheets, ensuring a smooth flow of information to facilitate good communication within the staffing team, as well as professionals who require viewing of these.
· Working under the supervision of the line manager to enable the implementation of individual service user’s care plans.
· Keeping service users safe and reporting any changes or health concerns· Attending training, participating in supervision sessions with nominated manager and attending staff meetings as required by your line manager.
