Catering vacancy at Barnards Meadow
SUFFOLK FA are seeking a catering partner at Barnards Meadow in Lowestoft.
A tender has been released to recruit a catering partner to work with Suffolk FA to deliver the catering services at Barnards Meadow.
The facility, which has recently undergone an £860,000 transformation, will have a new 3G pitch, new classrooms, changing facilities and a new café.
The major works are due to be completed in the coming weeks.
With around 50,000 people expected to use the facility throughout 2026, this is expected to become a highly valuable and important community facility for the north Suffolk area and the café is a key component of this.
Suffolk FA have now opened up the search to bring on a catering partner who has the ability to operate the café, providing high quality food and beverage and delivering high quality customer service to the users of the site.
It’s an exciting opportunity for a catering expert to join Suffolk FA on the start of a transformative journey for the facility, town and sport.
The tender documents can be found below which give full information about the project and details on what Suffolk FA are looking for.
Andy Wilesmith, Chief Executive Officer for Suffolk FA, said: “We are all excited to see the facility open and become a beacon and hub for the community.
“The café is an integral part of the operations for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it is a place where people can come together and connect and secondly it is an important revenue generator for us.
“The more successful the café is the more we can reinvest back into the game and local community.
“We are looking for an expert in this area that sees the business and community opportunity that can become a trusted partner of ours. We are excited to talk to the many great catering companies and experts across the area.”
