We are looking to appoint a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our busy catering team.
The post-holder will support the Catering Manager in overseeing the catering function of the Belgrade’s Operations Department, provide a quality food and drink experience to daytime and evening customers, and implement an efficient, effective and smooth running system for the catering element of the Theatre’s Events and Conferencing operation.
Salary: £12.90 per hour

What are we looking for?
Essential
- At least two years’ experience of working within a busy bar or food environment,
- At least one years’ successful experience of supervising a team of casual staff,
- A demonstrable ability to:
– ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation and working with Environmental Health,
– prepare (following instruction), present and sell food and drink,
– supervise a team of permanent and casual staff in a working environment,
– comply with cash handling procedures and use an EPOS system. - An understanding of developing new markets and products in a cafe and/or bar environment,
- A polite, engaging and welcoming persona and the ability to engage with customers with good spoken English,
- A thorough understanding of what makes good customer service and the ability to instill this in others,
- Energy, flair and enthusiasm,
- Flexibility and willingness to embrace change,
- Excellent team worker, supporting the work of colleagues as well as inviting input in return,
- Numerate and literate,
- Proficiency in using Word, Outlook, Excel and other computer packages used by the theatre,
- To be an efficient champion of the value of live theatre.

We are currently looking to widen our pool of freelance and casual workshop leaders to support the delivery of some of the Belgrade’s Education and Participation programmes, including weekly and one-off sessions.
We’re keen to hear from those with experience of delivering Drama or Spoken Word workshops in education or community settings in or around Coventry and the West Midlands, and facilitators specialising in work with primary aged children.
