Stoke City Football Club is looking for Casual Coaches to support its Foundation operations.
Stoke City Foundation is an independent and registered charity. We wish to appoint dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to deliver on all our community projects, specialise within football development. This will include preparing and delivering professional, enjoyable sessions to a range of participants throughout Staffordshire during evenings and weekends. Further to our local delivery, you may have the opportunity to travel abroad with our International Football Camps.
The successful applicants will be responsible for establishing positive working relationships with participants, as well as maintaining all related administration regarding the Foundation's programmes. They will have excellent planning, organisational and motivational skills as well as understand the importance of being a role model.
Ideal candidates will be working towards UEFA C License or above in Coaching Football and/or hold a national governing body recognised Level 1 qualification in at least one of the below areas: -

A full, clean driving licence as well as an up to date certificate in first aid and safeguarding is desirable.

Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for Host Families to accommodate young players between the ages of 13-21 years.
Homes need to be located within a close proximity to the Clayton Wood Training Ground (ST4 6NB) in order for the players to have easy access to this location.
Hosts are encouraged to include young players in family life and young players are expected to respect their Host Family’s way of life. Both hosts and young players are given guidelines explaining what is expected of them.
All our Host Families are regularly visited and inspected by the Academy Safeguarding Officer and are required to provide satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
In return the Club will provide the Host Family with a payment as well as the necessary training to ensure they understand the needs of an elite athlete.

Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for an Academy Sports Scientist with a particular focus on analysing data to support its sports science operations at the Clayton Wood Training Ground in Trent Vale.
Reporting to the Head of Academy Sports Science, the successful applicant will be responsible for optimising player performance using data analytics. The role involves two key aspects: developing effective reporting systems to track athletic performance and delivering athletic development sessions to support the development of all Academy players.

Main Responsibilities
- Extracting insights from a variety of sources and interpreting complex data to inform tactical and strategic decisions.
- Creating and maintaining clear and actionable dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or custom-built solutions.
- Delivering performance insight to a range of key stakeholders including coaches, parents and players.
- Improving performance through developing, implementing and evaluating various training programmes.
- Conducting on field conditioning and rehabilitation in conjunction with medical staff, tailoring sessions based on wellness metrics.
- Providing match day sports science support and post-match recovery strategies.
- Attending national and regional meetings, workshops and training courses as appropriate.
- Providing daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Head of Sports Science.
Key Skills, Experiences and Qualifications
- Experience working within an elite sporting environment.
- Background of working with large data sets and conducting data analysis either in a professional or academic capacity.
- Ability to work cross functionally and engage with stakeholders at different levels.
- Experience using Tableau, Power BI to create impactful performance dashboards.
- Relevant degree or higher degree in sports science is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working across multidisciplinary teams.
- The ability to problem solve and have an innovative mindset.
- Actively seek opportunities to integrate AI technologies into sports science analysis and practical application solutions.
- UKSCA accreditation in strength and conditioning or working towards is desirable.
- BASES accreditation or working towards is desirable.

As a Turnstile Operator, you will be responsible for checking and reconciling matchday and stadium event tickets. The ideal candidate will ensure that supporters receive exceptional customer service upon entry into the stadium.

- Responding to all customer enquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Facilitating the smooth and orderly flow of spectators into the stadium during matchdays and events.
