Contract: fixed-term (12 months), full time contract.

Hours: 35 hours per week (1 FTE)

Salary: £TBC

Location: Hybrid, anchored to the London Carers Trust office 1 day a week. Flexibility to work from other Carers Trust's offices around the UK when needed.

The Head of Corporate Partnerships & Business Development is a key role within the Income Generation Team, central to driving Carers Trust's corporate income growth and delivering our strategy, A Fair World for Carers. The postholder will be responsible for developing and leading high‑value partnerships, shaping compelling propositions, and managing a portfolio of corporate relationships to achieve ambitious income targets.

We are seeking a confident and commercially minded leader with experience in business development and partnership management. The successful candidate will build and influence strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders, requiring excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills.

As the postholder you will:

Work with the Executive and Leadership teams to transform strategic priorities into compelling fundable programmes, products and services.
Take strategic and timely decisions balancing internal stakeholder's priorities whilst also considering external trends and opportunities.
Regularly monitor income and expenditure budgets and undertake re-forecasting and implement contingency plans if required.

Carers Trust operates the largest UK-wide network of local carer organisations. Werefer to the 126 carer organisations in our network as Network Partners. NetworkPartners specialise in promoting the wellbeing of unpaid carers and providing themwith information, advice and support specific to their city or region.

Our activities to support unpaid carers and local carer organisations are diverse. We provide infrastructure support for our Network Partners and run programmes around topics such as education and employability. We also have a policy and campaigning function, and are a grantmaker. In addition to our network , we also run the Young Carers Alliance in England and Wales and Young Carers Services Alliance in Scotland, plus a growing network of NHS mental health trusts running an innovative programme to enable unpaid carers to support family members with mental health conditions.

In 2022, we launched our refreshed strategy ‘Building a Caring Society', which sets out stretching ambitions to ensure that all carers have access to high quality local carer organisations, no carer is pushed into poverty or financially disadvantaged by their caring role and that all unpaid carers, regardless of circumstances or age, are able to enjoy a fulfilling role alongside their caring relationship.
