Teacher of Mathematics (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking to appoint a full-time, qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics (9 - 12 months Fixed Term Contract) to join a friendly, thriving department teaching pupils who achieve excellent results at GCSE and A level. Typically, pupils leave the School in Year 13 for Russell Group universities, with many pupils making Oxbridge applications and apprenticeship applications each year.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced Mathematics teacher. They should be knowledgeable, inspiring, articulate, and supportive. They will have the vision and drive to maintain the very high educational standards for which the Mathematics Department is known. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, both in imparting a passion for the subject to pupils and students, and in working collaboratively with the Mathematics Department, the wider staff body and parents.

The salary for this role will be Teachers’ Main or Enhanced Pay Scale, depending on experience.

We are looking to appoint an After-School Supervisor to work in our After-School Infant and Junior Hub, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3.45pm to 6.00pm each day. This totals as 6.75 hours per week.
The After-School Supervisor will work as part of a committed team dedicated to delivering safe, high‑quality care for children at the end of the School day.
Within the After-School Infant and Junior Hub, you will help create an inclusive environment that offers engaging, high‑quality play experiences and supportive care.
Your responsibilities include supervising and guiding children, ensuring their safety and positive development, maintaining confidentiality, and keeping accurate attendance records.
Ideally, we are looking to appoint a Level 3 qualified professional or an individual with equivalent training and experience who can bring creativity, energy and enrichment to our School setting.
While not essential, we would particularly welcome applications from candidates who currently work with infants or juniors in a coaching or teaching capacity. Qualifications or experience in the following specialist areas would be highly advantageous and contribute significantly to the breadth and quality of our co-curricular offerings:
- Dance
- Languages
- Forest School
- Yoga
- Tennis
The pro-rated salary for this role is £3,704.20pa. (£26,228 pa FTE Salary)
