The Team:
The Regional General Counsel Team Provides legal advice and oversight within a specific geographic area for our organization. The North American General Counsel acts as a key legal advisor for the region, managing legal risks and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. They collaborate with regional leadership to support business objectives and growth. Additionally, the purpose of the Regional Counsel Team is to support the Board of Directors of the regional entity and local teams with high quality legal advice, triage issues locally and work collaboratively with wider legal team to obtain support from the Shared Services and Global Centers of Excellence.
About this role:
The Regional General Counsel, NA will have regional accountability for CDP’s regulatory and legal compliance, providing extensive legal advice and guidance to local teams and the Board of Directors of the regional entity to enable informed decision making. In addition, the Regional General Counsel, NA, will be the central point of contact for all legal matters for their region. They will need to work seamlessly with their colleagues and centers of global expertise and shared services.
What you will do:
- Lead on the regional implementation of CDP's strategy and approach for legal, to enable the operational effectiveness of the global legal function
- Ensure that the appropriate members of the Directorate are briefed on any existing or emerging issues or risks
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of precedents, template agreements, playbooks and know how
- Guide the Grant and Development teams, provide legal advice on Grant arrangements, Service Agreements and other philanthropic engagements to support these teams to obtain external funding (leveraging CDP precedents/templates maintained by the Head of Commercial Legal’s team)
- Draft, negotiate and support the Grant and Development team in engagement with sponsorship arrangements with governments, regulatory bodies and other sponsors to deliver partnerships for CDP projects that deliver its mission (leveraging CDP precedents/templates maintained by the Head of Commercial Legal’s team)
- Work across the Regional Counsel Team and with the Head of Commercial Legal to prepare and deliver handbooks and training on grant arrangements including standard inter-group arrangements for sub-grants, working with the finance team to ensure that all arrangements are tax effective and appropriately documented
- Collaborate with other teams involved in innovation, change, and ecosystem partnerships to ensure that legal risks are understood and mitigated for funding opportunity approval and new project initiatives
- Maximize on the deployment of legal resources within the region, leverage the expertise within the global legal function effectively and provide guidance to regional stakeholders enabling delivery of CDP’s mission
- Work closely with the global centers of expertise to implement internal policies, processes, procedures, and training on a regional level; to ensure regions are effectively supported
- Lead on all corporate/charitable governance matters relating to the entities established within the region (US 501(3)(c)) including interacting with Board of Directors of the regional entity as necessary and appropriate
- Work with the Company Secretariat or local company secretarial services to act as a gatekeeper and advocate of the CDP governance framework
- Advise and support effective systems regionally to ensure compliance and adherence to data privacy requirements, and other statutory local rules to minimise CDP’s exposure
- Keep the CLO informed, manage litigation and dispute resolution processes within region in order to assess and recommended appropriate courses of action
- Drive legal compliance within region with applicable laws, regulations, and regional standards; to ensure alignment within the global legal function
- Collaborate with the Head of Commercial, Legal to manage the drafting and review of complex contracts and agreements within region where subject to local laws or which require local regional knowledge
• Engage, instruct, and manage external legal counsel when specialist legal advice is required - Manage regional allocation of Directorate budget
• Any other duties and responsibilities reasonably required that are commensurate to the role
• Ad hoc global project work including contributing to the Directorate’s RACI

We’re looking for:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school, along with active membership of the New York bar and 5- 10 years’ experience
- Experience advising on and ensuring fulfilment of all legal obligations applicable to a charity/not for profit and for directly supporting Trustees/Boards (as applicable)
- Excellent knowledge of contractual/commercial law, litigation, IP, data privacy and broad legal and regulatory compliance experience
- Strong experience working with and presenting to Trustees, Boards, Committees and senior leadership (as applicable by region)
• Experience of Company secretarial/governance work or of overseeing this responsibility - Strong ability to provide legal advice to regional stakeholders and influence decision making
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to foster collaboration and build relationships with regional internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent judgement with integrity
- Adept at dealing with challenges and disputes in an effective and efficient way without losing sight of business goals.

About the Team:
The Product team define the product roadmap, prioritization and requirements for their product or product portfolio. We work very closely with Data and Engineering to deliver the Products using an agile framework.
About this role:
The Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the Product Lifecycle focusing on discovery, definition and delivery of a suite of products. This role will work closely with the Product Lead, engineers, quality assurance analysts, designers and data analysts within a squad as well as with a wide group of stakeholders across the organisation to analyse the business needs, formalise requirements, and develop the roadmap and backlog. What you will do:
Operations (Japan):

About this role:
The Interim Project Manager will lead the day-to-day delivery of Project Renaissance during a maternity leave coverage period, with onboarding beginning in December 2025 and contract terminating in July 2026. This role will be the functional project lead and manage timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful delivery of agreed outcomes in partnership with our implementation partner(s) and internal teams.
This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong project management skills, exceptional stakeholder coordination, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
What you will do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project delivery during the coverage period.
- Manage the integrated project plan, timelines, and budget, ensuring alignment with scope and objectives.

Senior Manager, Data Governance

The Team:
The Data Governance and Quality team is responsible for developing and implementing policies, standards, and guidance to measure and improve the quality of CDP’s data. We establish clear standards and definitions, embed governance and quality principles into system design, and provide training and support to staff. This ensures CDP’s data is accurate and trusted to support high-quality products and deliver its mission with greater impact.
About this role:
The Senior Manager, Data Governance will lead the development and implementation of data management policies, processes, standards, and training.
They will define and embed data stewardship across key domains and be the primary contact, providing support and guidance for CDP’s Data Steering Committee members. They will establish processes to manage and monitor critical data such as master and reference data. They will develop mechanisms to assess core data changes, ensuring governance is embedded into the design and product development to support CDP’s data strategy.
The role includes overseeing the delivery of CDP’s data governance tool, submitting and reviewing requirements, along with testing. They will work closely with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to align principles, drive compliance, and reduce data risks. A key responsibility is guiding and supporting data owners and stewards, as well as coaching junior team members.
What you will do:
- Develop and embed policies, standards, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure robust management of CDP’s data
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable data governance processes across all critical domains
- Highlight the criticality of data governance by working with Product, IT, and the business to embed standards into system change, product development and processes
- Provide Data Steering Committee support by managing requests and items backlog, coordinating assessments, and providing timely update to stakeholders
- Oversee the configuration and use of CDP’s data governance tool, including requirements, testing, and ongoing access monitoring

About this role:

What you will do:

Thought Leadership provides the environmental expertise that drives the evolution of CDP’s disclosure system and its impact. The team leads research and analysis of CDP data and other sources to generate insights that inform decisions across business, finance, and policy. Thought Leadership represents CDP in key stakeholder engagements and expert fora, spearheading strategic partnerships and projects, and contributing actively to the development and application of environmental science, standards, and frameworks
The Sustainable Business team delivers CDPs thought leadership relating to the development of corporate and financial sustainable business practices. This involves leading the development of CDP’s approach to sustainable finance, resource management and circular economy, sectors, SMEs and other key business perspectives, and deploying the insights generated by the data to drive impact according to CDPs theory of change.
About this role:
The Manager, Plastics will help to develop and implement a plan to use disclosure and transparency to drive positive action by the private sector and financial institutions, to accelerate the transition to a circular economy and prevent plastic pollution and waste. This role is tied to CDP’s intention to expand our disclosure universe and corporate reporting to all relevant environmental topics across Nature and resources. Working with the Lead, Plastics & Circular Economy on evolution of CDP’s focus on Plastics and broader Circular Economy principles, the work will focus on developing, operationalizing and mainstreaming plastics as a relatively new topic to CDP’s corporate and signatory stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Identify and implement ideas to increase the ability of CDP disclosers to disclose plastic related data amongst CDP’s key stakeholders.
- Carry out research, mapping and other tasks to understand the scope and impact of external initiatives and projects relevant to plastics and circular economy disclosure and identify unique contribution opportunities for CDP
- Identify how CDP’s existing thematic strategies, disclosure frameworks, and capacity building programs can be adapted to address circular economy & plastics.
- Understand and provide relevant plastics & circular economy disclosure metrics for commercial products including those for supply chain and financial institutions
- Work with relevant teams to understand and inform product development opportunities
- Lead on capacity building and knowledge sharing among CDP’s external facing teams, around plastics and circular economy
- Represent CDP externally on plastics issues as necessary
- Support account managers engaging corporates on plastics, and their relationship to waste and circular economy
- Work with relevant colleagues to embed plastic in existing messaging and to develop separate communications

About this role:

The Energy team is part of the Climate Change team, which sits under Thought Leadership. About this role:
The Senior Manager – Energy is one of CDP’s experts in the energy sector. This role focusses on the generation and use of electricity and the associated carbon and renewable energy accounting with the objective of ensuring that the CDP questionnaire captures all relevant information to understand the actions that companies are taking in regard to the energy transition.

CDP’s Customer Success function is responsible for the customer experience from onboarding through to the delivery of a seamless customer journey. About the Team:
The Policy Team at CDP interacts with and influences policy and regulation at global, regional and national level and facilitates CDP engagement with standards and frameworks and other key organizations in the CDP ecosystem. It formulates, oversees and implements CDP’s policy program plan.
About this role:
The postholder supports the Chief Policy and Projects Officer with the day-to-day management of the Policy and Projects function and on key strategic projects that require special focus and priority delivery. The Policy and Projects Coordinator collaborates across the global organization, working closely with Chiefs of Staff to other functions and exploring how to engage strategically across the organisation to deliver smooth coordination and quality assurance of CDP Policy and Projects flagship campaigns and events. These typically include major global events such as the UNFCCC Conferences of the Parties (COPs), Climate Weeks, and the G20 sustainable finance working groups (SFWG). They ensure coherence, clarity, and timeliness across event outputs by managing workflows, driving forward timelines, and supporting rigorous quality control of key materials—such as strategy documents, briefings, and mission reports.
What you will do:
- Working with the Chief Policy and Projects Officer to support on key strategic projects that require special focus and priority delivery.
- Contributing to longer term strategic projects and partnerships, including representing Policy and Projects in internal working groups and committees.
- Responding to inbound opportunities that are presented internally or by third parties.
- Supporting the Chief Policy and Projects Officer with aspects of managing the ongoing strategy for the team and acting as trusted advisor.
- Providing quality control of briefings for events and projects, ensuring all materials are reviewed for clarity, factual accuracy, formatting, and alignment with CDP's positioning before sign-off.
- Taking ownership of miscellaneous policy inputs—such as letters of support, partner policy asks, or joint statements—where no single thematic lead is responsible, ensuring CDP input is coordinated and appropriately reviewed.
- Support policy project implementation – such as SharePoint management; best practice decks for projects (i.e. implementation plans, kick-offs, etc); coordinating M&E inputs.

- Working closely with thematic leads in the Policy Team to ensure comprehensive and integrated strategies between policy campaigns and broader CDP mission, USP, and strategy, are presented to Leadership. voice in the policy ecosystem.
- Working in consultation with Chief Policy and Projects Officer to triage day to day requests and project updates from the wider team as well as supporting prioritisation.
- Documenting processes for proper escalation to the Chief Policy and Projects Officer ensuring the processes are followed, with adequate information provided for decision-making.
- Reviewing key priorities with Chief Policy and Projects Officer and supporting delegation of tasks and dissemination of information within the function.
- Participating actively in the CDP-wide Chiefs of Staff group and ensuring effective alignment on ways of working and communicating across the different functions within the organization.
- Acting as a liaison between Policy and Projects and other functions as needed to ensure coordination on day-to-day activities and broader strategy, especially as it pertains to Policy and Projects.
- Representing the Chief Policy and Projects Officer in a senior capacity internally by maintaining an open dialogue with other key functions within the organisation and identifying opportunities for collaboration and support.

We're looking for:

Final offer amount depends on multiple factors such as candidates experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data.

About the Team:
CDP’s Sales function is responsible for generating sales of CDP products to new customers, as well as renewing existing customers and identifying greenfield opportunities. The Sales function is market and customer oriented and establishes go-to market strategies that serve key personas across financial corporates, non-financial corporates, and distributors and channels. The Sales function works closely with internal teams such as Marketing & Communications and Customer Success to deliver a smooth customer experience.
The Data and Channels Sales Team are responsible for business development and sales of environmental data across channels including financial institutions, third party distributors, consultants, software & service providers and data houses.
About this role:
This role drives business development and generates new opportunities with strategic and high priority new clients. This role will particularly focus on data sales to financial institutions and financial market infrastructure.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and execute sales strategies to achieve business development goals. This includes developing sales plans, setting targets, and monitoring performance against objectives.
- Take Ownership of Leading Sales Opportunities, Client Relationship Engagement and Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. This involves understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

We're looking for:
- Experience: Demonstrable experience, at least 3 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the sustainability sector.

- Client Engagement: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders with comfort engaging leadership positions. Familiarity with financial institutions including asset managers, insurance and banks is a plus.

About this role:
As Lead QA Engineer, you will own and drive the end-to-end quality assurance strategy across CDP’s engineering squads. This includes defining best practices for testing, managing the QA team, improving processes, and maintaining a strong focus on automation and performance testing. You will also play a hands-on role in QA, contributing directly to platform quality while coaching others and providing visibility of quality metrics across the business.

The Product owner team define the product roadmap, prioritization and requirements for their product or product portfolio. We work very closely with Data and Engineering to deliver the Products using an agile framework.
About this role:
The Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the Product Lifecycle focusing on discovery, definition and delivery of a suite of products. This role will work closely with the Product Lead, engineers, quality assurance analysts, designers and data analysts within a squad as well as with a wide group of stakeholders across the organisation to analyse the business needs, formalise requirements, and develop the roadmap and backlog. About this role:
The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the Product Lifecycle focusing on discovery, definition and delivery of a suite of products. About the Team:
The Disclosure team plays a critical role in ensuring discloser customer success. Disclosure engages and provides support to confirmed discloser customers, including enhanced disclosure support to Reporter Service members and ASPs.
About this role:
The Customer Success Associate, Disclosure Engagement provides crucial central support to the regional Disclosure Engagement team, contributing to the efficient management of disclosure engagement activities for critical disclosers, and engaging disclosers through the regional inbox. A key aspect of this role is to support the Regional Engagement Lead, Disclosure, by contributing to regional projects and the development of shared resources.
What you will do:
Resource and Content Creation

Assist in the creation of content for webinars, events, and customer calls.

Develop and format presentations, reports, and other materials using PowerPoint and Excel.

Support the team with the preparation of materials for customer presentations and internal updates.
Data Management and Analysis Support

Support the tracking and management of key team metrics and performance data at a regional level. Contribute to the maintenance and updating of team databases and data records.
Operational Support:

Assist Account Managers through data tools and visualizations to support customer engagement.

Respond to external queries directed to the regional disclosure inbox, providing timely and accurate information and ensuring efficient handling of inquiries.

Catalogue, maintain, and update key support resources for Account Managers and requester customers on a regular basis.

Provide operational and administrative support to the Regional Disclosure Engagement Lead and the wider regional team.

Support the implementation of process improvements and best practices within the region.

Collaborate with the Customer Support team, utilize case management, and assist in directing disclosers and team members to the CDP Help Center.

About the Team:
The Legal, Risk & Compliance department plays a crucial part in CDP’s success. We take pride in our understanding of the organisation and in finding practical and innovative solutions to legal challenges to enable CDP to achieve its goals.
The department provides comprehensive legal support, risk management, and compliance oversight across CDP’s global operations. We are focused on protecting CDP’s interests, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, and enabling business success through strategic legal guidance and effective risk and compliance frameworks.
About this role:
This role will provide support to the CDP’s HR team on employment law issues, but will also provide support on wider legal work, including in particular on CDP’s data licensing activities and commercial agreements. This role is a great opportunity for an individual with employment law expertise to develop more generalist in-house experience in the commercial space, alongside using their employment law expertise.
This role sits in a London-based team. Working in a friendly and supportive environment you will quickly have the autonomy to lead on a wide range of legal matters, working with colleagues around the world from all parts of the organisation. What you will do::
• Provide expert legal advice to the HR function on employment law matters contracts, policies, disciplinary actions, grievances, redundancies, and restructures
• Ensure compliance with evolving employment legislation and workplace regulations.
• Handle any employment related disputes or claims, liaising with external counsel when necessary.
• Draft and maintain specific policies and process documents up to date.
• Liaise with external counsel to support on employment related matters outside the UK
• Provide support on commercial matters for CDP’s operations, primarily across the UK, US, APAC and LatAm. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, managing legal and compliance risks, and supporting the development of legal strategies aligned with CDP’s mission and global objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including data licensing, CDP’s various product and product development/pilot agreements, grant agreements, NDAs, MOUs and partnership agreements, and procurement contracts to support CDP’s operations in the UK, US, APAC and LatAm.
• Identify and manage legal risks by developing strategies to mitigate potential issues and advising on best practices in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop strong service-orientated relationships built on trust, with staff across the organisation to ensure steady and seamless integration into the Legal team as a legal business partner.
• Develop and maintain templates and guidance to streamline processes and promote consistency in commercial transactions.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of legal, internal processes, and training to enhance governance with CDP internal stakeholders.

What we are looking for:
• Qualified solicitor with a practising certificate in the UK.
• Ability to attend the London office twice per week.
• 3+ years’ relevant PQE (note, PQE is used to indicate experience, it is not a mandatory requirement).
• Excellent academics and law firm training.
• Expertise in UK employment law.
• Be an excellent communicator, able to navigate high levels of detail and deliver clear, succinct messages whilst navigating ambiguity with ease.
• Ability to work independently, be organised and methodical and able to deliver against a varied workload, managing competing priorities under your own initiative.

About this role:
The Legal team plays a pivotal part in CDP’s success. The focus of team’s work is commercial law but we encounter a huge variety of issues relating, for example, to charity, competition, digital, data protection, employment and IP law.
This role sits in a London-based team. What you will do:
• Supporting on routine commercial legal work, such as updates to templates across regions, termination letters, and amendments to agreements
• Assistance with trademark portfolio management
• Support regarding law firm engagement, including management of Letters of Engagement, obtaining different quotes, and budget management.
• Support with our legal tech - including amendments which need to be made to our contract templates within Juro (our contract automation software) and amendments to contracts which are generated within Juro for specific clients
• Roll-out of guidance/updates from legal department
• Data licensing and impact on downstream contracting (e.g. reviewing in-bound data licence agreements for requirements we are required to flow down to our own licensees)
• Data protection support on DSARs and data incidents
• Support on corporate maintenance requirements in regions (e.g. arranging notarisations)
• Support on various legal projects and supporting compliance team on regulatory work
• Any other support for the Legal Risk & Compliance team which may reasonably be required in the paralegal role

About the Team:
CDP’s Sales function is responsible for generating sales of CDP products to new customers, as well as renewing existing customers and identifying greenfield opportunities within the existing book of business. The Sales function is market and customer oriented and establishes go-to market strategies that serve key personas across financial corporates, non-financial corporates, and distributors and channels. We accredit companies with deep expertise in environmental sustainability, empowering them to support organisations worldwide with high-quality sustainability disclosures and strategy. Through these vital partnerships, we advance transparency, accountability, and best practice across the sustainability landscape. As a Senior Sales Manager in the ASP team, you’ll bring strong regional expertise, ideally with a sustainability lens, to lead strategic business development, nurture key partnerships, and manage renewals for the ASP program.

About this role This role drives sales for the ASP program across the Americas, contributing to the development and delivery of a regional sales strategy, identifying new opportunities for partnerships across consultancies, software providers, fintechs, verification bodies, and renewable-energy organisations, and serving as a key relationship contact for existing ASPs. We're looking for:
