Youthwork Lead
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youthwork Lead to join Urban Promise UK (UPUK) and St Chad’s Church. The successful candidate will play a vital role in inspiring, mentoring, and supporting young people within our community programmes across our new site in Chadwell Heath. This unique dual role offers an opportunity to bridge two incredible communities—a faith-based charity and a community-focused church—to make a positive impact on youth development. The Youthwork Lead will be responsible for overseeing the Student Leader programme, facilitating spiritual and academic growth, and fostering a safe, cohesive environment for teens and primary-aged children alike.
Terms: Initially for 3 years with plans to extend, Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
The role requires term time working hours of Monday 2-8 PM (inc. St Chad’s Youth Group), Tuesday 2-6 PM, Wednesday 2-6 PM, Thursday 2-6 PM, and Sunday 10 AM-1 PM plus additional hours for planning and meetings. Holiday clubs run in Easter (4 days) and Summer (3 weeks) 9am-3pm.
