Job Description:
One Dance UK is looking for a dynamic and committed Youth Dance Manager to join our Children and Young People’s (CYP) Dance team at a pivotal and exciting time for dance education.
This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in shaping and delivering high-quality dance opportunities for children and young people across the UK, both in schools and beyond.
You will lead on the delivery, development and growth of key national programmes including:

Young Creatives (supporting the next generation of choreographers)

Dance Ambassadors (empowering young dance advocates)
-
U.Dance First for primary-aged children, alongside supporting the wider U.Dance framework
Alongside programme leadership, you will play a vital role in building partnerships, supporting educators, and strengthening pathways into dance careers, helping to ensure that every child and young person has access to meaningful, high-quality dance experiences.
This role sits at the heart of a rapidly evolving landscape. With significant developments across the education and cultural sectors, this is a challenging and exciting moment to advocate for dance and drive forward change.
Working closely with the Head of CYP Dance and colleagues across One Dance UK, you will contribute to a passionate and collaborative team, helping to raise the profile and impact of dance education nationally.
We are looking for someone who brings:

A strong understanding of dance for children and young people across formal education, out-of-school settings and progression pathways within the wider dance landscape

Experience of delivering and managing programmes

Confidence in building and sustaining relationships

A proactive and creative approach to development and growth
