Hillingdon Park Baptist Church is seeking a gifted and passionate Youth & Children’s Ministry Lead to develop our work with children and young people.
The successful applicant will also be a member of the Church Leadership Team.
The role includes:
• Maintain the Church’s ministry for young people; develop new areas of work through liaison with local schools
• To encourage and promote the development of a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ and thereafter to build them up in faith; establish positive relationships with their peer group and to foster integration into the life of the wider Church
• To expand and develop the leaders/volunteers; building positive relationships with these leaders and helpers; developing future leaders by identifying, mentoring and resourcing.
• To liaise with local youth workers to share best practice and build relationships. To establish and develop opportunities for fellowship, worship, outreach and training within the wider community.
The successful candidate will be required to have an enhanced DBS check to evidence that they are not unsuitable to work with children and young people.
