Croydon Citadel Salvation Army Church & Community Centre is looking for a Youth and Children Mission Worker to support the Corps (Church) with an effective community programme, working specifically with children, young people and their families along with promoting Christian discipleship with the children and young people.
Your Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver youth and children focused spiritual programmes and community activities within the Corps and local community to support the successful delivery o9f mission
- Participate in and lead Christian worship and small group sessions where appropriate with a focus on youth and children’s ministry
- Demonstrate both a professional and caring manner when interacting with programme participants and the wider family to create a welcoming and supportive environment
- Fulfil any relevant administration processes to ensure that accurate records are maintained
- Contribute into the planning and review processes for the programmes and activities to ensure continuous improvement and development to meet the changing needs of the community

This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian.
