Works Lead Administrator
Trinity College, founded in 1546 by Henry VIII, is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Cambridge, with some 720 undergraduates, 350 graduate students, 190 Fellows and around 360 non-academic staff. The beauty and size of Trinity’s courts attract visitors from all over the world, but the College is also a thriving, modern community, which exists to give its members a rewarding, richly resourced, and intellectually inspiring place in which to pursue their education and research.
We are looking to recruit a Works Lead Administrator, who will be part of a large team of construction specialists that actively coordinate and deliver the maintenance, repair and conservation of the College buildings, supporting over 1500 members of the College community. The role holder will support the Director of Works by managing their schedules, handling correspondence and queries together with the co-ordination of meetings and associated documentation. In addition, the job holder will contribute actively to the optimisation of departmental systems and processes to underpin a high quality service.
The successful candidate will have excellent spoken and written communication skills, be highly organised and capable of managing multiple streams of work simultaneously. They will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel). Experience with SharePoint and CAFM systems is desirable, but training will be provided.
The salary for the post is £37,133 plus excellent benefits which include (subject to eligibility) a generous defined contribution pension scheme, free meals in College when working on-site, a subsidised gym and, after satisfactory completion of the probation period, a cycle to work scheme and private health care.
