About the Role

MAP is seeking a Women’s Health Doctor to provide high-quality medical care, primarily for women, through mobile clinic services across communities in the West Bank. The role involves delivering medical services in mobile clinic settings, including screening, diagnosis and treatment, prescribing medication, and making appropriate referrals for women’s health concerns. The post holder will also provide antenatal care and family planning services, ensuring timely, appropriate care and referral where required.

**Residency in the Jordan Valley or Jericho is required, with residency in the northern Jordan Valley preferred. A valid professional medical licence to practise in the West Bank is also required**

About You

The ideal candidate should have a medical degree from an accredited institution, a completed internship, and a valid Palestinian Ministry of Health medical licence, with clinical experience preferably in women’s health, antenatal care, community-based or public health services. Experience in mobile clinics, humanitarian or emergency response settings is desirable, alongside knowledge of Ministry of Health guidelines, infection prevention and control, and relevant humanitarian standards. The candidate should demonstrate strong clinical, analytical, communication, documentation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Good working knowledge of MS Office and electronic medical records, and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders are also required.
