Location: Gloucester Women’s Centre
Salary: up to £40,000
Holiday: 25 days per annum plus statutory
Pension: 6% employer contribution

Our Women’s Centres provide life-changing, trauma-informed support to women facing complex challenges, including criminal justice involvement.
We are now seeking an exceptional leader to take forward the next chapter of Gloucester Women’s Centre.
The Role
As Gloucester Women’s Centre Manager - Partnerships and Development, you will provide strong, visible leadership to a committed multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative and impactful services.
You will be responsible for operational performance, while building strong external partnerships that sustain and grow the Centre’s reach and reputation.
What we are looking for
This is a role for a confident and values-driven leader with a track record of leading teams to delivery service excellence and outcomes. Most importantly you will shares our belief that with the right support at the right time, women can build lives free from harm, abuse, substance use and criminal justice involvement.
You’ll need to bring:
- Solid experience managing services in the voluntary sector, criminal justice, social care, health or similar environments
- At least 3 years of leadership experience, confidently guiding teams and supporting performance
- A track record of delivering contract‑ or grant‑funded services, meeting KPIs and tackling underperformance
- Confidence working in multi‑agency settings, representing services at strategic and commissioning forums
- Strong financial awareness, including experience managing delegated budgets
- Sound understanding of safeguarding and promoting safe practice
- Awareness of the challenges faced by women in the criminal justice or complex‑needs sectors
- Good knowledge of governance, compliance and local partnership landscapes
