We are currently seeking a new Volunteer - Women’s Academy Assistant Psychologist to work within our Women’s Academy. 

The purpose of the volunteer role is to ensure the women’s first team have a high number of home grown players. This role supports psychological player development within the academy including the Emerging Talent Centre.

  • Plan, deliver and review workshop or 1:1 sessions to a high standard for your designated age group or discipline in line with the club curriculum.
  • Ensure player monitoring documents are accurate and up to date
  • Prioritise personal development and learning
  • Be aware of the PUFC policies, procedures & best practise so that concerns of non-compliance can be raised at all times e.g. Safeguarding, Inclusion, Diversity, Data Protection, Health and Safety
  • Support the development of a positive culture within the academy
  • Maintain a safe environment for everyone at all times

The successful person will prioritise their own development and learning. They will be enthusiastic and be happy to work as part of a wider team.

Essential experience, qualifications and skills

●    Degree in Sport Psychology or other related subject
● FA DBS check
● FA Safeguarding Children Workshop
● Proactive
● Professional
● Desire to want to learn and progress
