About the role
The Wellbeing Services Officer is our resident subject matter expert in wellbeing and supports the RAF community through seamless delivery of wellbeing-focused products and services. Working closely with a variety of stakeholders this role monitors and continuously identifies trends in wellbeing and uses this data to inform improvement and best practice delivery. The WSO is key to reducing barriers to engagement through outreach, advice, information, and clear signposting across the Association’s wider programme of support.
Primary responsibilities include
Lead on the delivery of wellbeing services and pilot new wellbeing products within the Association’s evolving wellbeing programme.
Champion the continual development of designated products and services ensuring our initiatives meet both business objectives and the needs of the RAF community.
Identify opportunities to collaborate with beneficiaries, internal and external partners and key stakeholders to further promote and deliver wider wellbeing work.
Develop, maintain, and moderate an engaging programme of digital content including health and well-being related webinars, topical updates, and forums.
Co-ordinate delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of in-person and online courses, group sessions and training.
Collate and submit regular reports and progress updates on the development and delivery of designated products and services.
Manage databases and booking portals that support efficient delivery, recording and reporting of courses, webinars, and featured content.
About you
Our ideal colleague will have previous professional experience in the delivery of wellbeing products and have project management skills to be able to manage different projects in tandem. Current projects include our ‘Finding it Tough?’ course and sourcing grants to fund new initiatives. We need you to be able to understand and use data and insights to inform and evolve activities along with the confidence to support, develop and introduce new systems and processes. Up to date knowledge on industry trends and best practices in wellbeing support is highly desirable. Flexibility in your working hours will be required from time to time to attend meetings and events (planned in advance) for which we offer Time Off in Lieu for those occasions where you may have longer days away to promote or deliver programmes.
