Job title: Welfare Officer- 21 Hrs per week

Salary: £39,424 to £47,779 per annum (including Oxford Weighting), equivalent to Grade 7 on the Jesus College scale. (Pro rata for part-time).

The Welfare Officer takes a lead role in the College’s welfare provision and contributes to strategic decision making to ensure that the College supports and enhances the welfare and wellbeing of all its students in the best ways possible and informed by best practice. They will generally be the first point of support and guidance to students and provide second-line support to the Junior Deans (normally postgraduate students who live in College accommodation), and student peer supporters and student welfare reps.
