Weekend Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: St Andrews, Harrogate

Salary £14.70 per hour

35 hours per week

(Thursday and Friday 07.00-14.30; Saturday and Sunday 07.30-15.00; Monday 07.00-14.30)

 

Our housekeeping team is deservedly proud of the exceptional standards of service we provide in our en-suite rooms, public areas and leisure facilities.

We are looking for a conscientious, reliable individual with excellent attention to detail and good communication skills to supervise our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role, out on the floor where previous experience of housekeeping and laundry is preferred.

  • Providing support as directed and deputizing in the absence of the Head Housekeeper
  • Checking all areas, including bedrooms, throughout the day, ensuring they are cleaned to the PTC standards.
  • Self-catering properties to be checked following turn outs.
  • Assist with recruitment, induction and training of new and existing team members.
  • Responsible for stock control, purchasing and the asset register, liaising with the Head Housekeeper
  • Assist in the preparation of events held within the Centre.
  • Implementation, training and support to the housekeeping team of the new IT system
