Job Purpose

This is primarily an administrative and coordination role, ensuring that digital systems, products and content are accurate, up to date and functioning effectively. The post holder will support online sales activity through system maintenance, product set-up, customer service and internal liaison. The role also includes some creative tasks such as creating and updating webpages or content, working under the guidance and direction of the Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update the Trust’s websites, booking systems and eCommerce platforms to ensure information is accurate and current.

Set up and administer products, tickets, events and services within EPOS and booking systems, updating pricing, availability, descriptions and schedules as required.

Carry out routine website checks to ensure functionality, accuracy and ease of use, liaising with the website provider and deliver website software updates when available.

Create and update webpages and digital content following brand guidelines and direction from the Marketing Team.

Support basic SEO and good website practice to improve visibility and usability.

Coordinate fulfilment of online products including experiences, tickets, vouchers, courses and clubs.

Handle customer enquiries related to online bookings and purchases, ensuring timely resolution.

Maintain clear records and ensure data accuracy across systems.

Liaise with colleagues to ensure digital information reflects operational changes.

Provide general administrative support related to digital operations as requested by the Director of Finance or Marketing Manager.

The Working Week

Your working week will be busy, working closely with the marketing team on daily tasks and priorities. The team follow clearly defined processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. You will play an integral role in customer satisfaction in the fulfilment of online orders, as well as have space for creativity in the oversight of our company websites. You will need to upload images, text and promotional materials supplied by the Marketing Team, as well as maintain a clear storage system for photos and videos.

Core working hours are flexible to ensure continuity of service. This post is 25 hours per week over 5 days. Weekend shifts will be expected, worked on a rotation basis with other colleagues in the Finance Team. This is a hybrid role, with twice-weekly office attendance required for organisational meetings, (a more frequent office presence will be expected during your 6-month probationary period). The job will involve overtime, including some evening and bank holiday working as part of your normal duties. You may be required to occasionally travel between parks.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

Essential

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or digital support role.

Experience using Microsoft Office and content management systems.

Experience dealing with customers and resolving queries.

Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Confident updating websites and uploading content.

Ability to follow brand and marketing guidance.

Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise tasks.

Demonstrate a genuine love of British wildlife and belief in Wildwood’s Mission; to protect, conserve, and rewild British wildlife.

Desirable

Experience working with eCommerce platforms.

Basic knowledge of web layout or digital content creation.

Familiarity with Photoshop or similar tools.

Employment Package

Annual salary of £17,820.00
